I would prefer that they buff weak characters more often than they nerf strong ones (although obviously nerfs are needed sometimes)
True but I think this nerf was needed for raiden. A little bit of an over nerf but a nerf nonetheless but yes we shld buff more characters. Please buff sub zero and scorpion nrs, I'm begging you!!

i feel like the most annoying nerf is the storm cell brutality being changed to EX storm cell or storm cell with max charge. like there’s absolutely no reason to change that it just ruins brutality combos 😭

I’m a raiden main and I’m pretty angry at some things, the EX storm cell is no longer safe?!?! The whole point of burning the meter was to make it safe but now it’s not anymore. Also nerfing the projectile WTF? It wasn’t broken to begin with and we still have characters like reiko with busted projectiles. Overall I hesitate to call raiden even A tier. He had little to no range, not much pressure, and overall not many tools anymore. Pretty disappointed ab this
Also extra edit: kenshi is STILL unbelievably busted but they continue to do nothing.
Most EX launchers are not safe in this game،especially this who are multi hiting،low،and Crazy cheap damage

I feel like with every invasions season they either buff or Nerf the main character that’s a part of that season lol
So storm cell isn't an anti-air? Dang. It was perfect for countering neutral jumps But I do miss the magnetic pull.
Man, at this point I'm so used to Raiden's moves that I don't know if I can even attempt to learn someone else's despite wanting to especially after this. I know I'm late to the party but I didn't even know they got rid of Electromagnetic storm pull-in. Bummer that was my favorite anti-air.

I get the storm cell damage nerf but no being able to catch people in the air is going to real annoying once this is more known

@@darkninja9499 not really 😂 raiden has has really good anti air’s that lead into full combos and idk if you realize this but this just makes the Kano/raiden even strong for raiden because it locks you in place

Does Raiden have multiple anti-air's? I used to use Stormcell against Smokes teleports...can you punish Raidens Electric Fly with an uppercut still? I agree with you, I think they could've went less harsh
He's still SO fun to use and even looks cooler now this season, so maybe we just gotta adapt and find other ways to punish/defend. It's electric!

also they only nerfed 3 things which shows how much storm cell carried the character if anything, its a pretty minor nerf but the fact that raiden relied so much on storm cell is what makes it a big deal

Amp storm cell doesn’t create as much space on block as it used to. Every time i try to mixup with it i get punished. Smfh 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Been thinking about switching to Reptile for awhile tbh. But, learning an entire new moveset after 300 hours of Raiden seems fucking impossible. That's before you factor in the kameo, too. I'm thinking I'll just stick with my boy and hope for the best. I heard Raiden + Sonya is pretty good so I'm gonna try learning that one.

I didn’t use storm cell really only as an ended in a combo I only recently tried out the radien Kano combos for labbing and it just felt to mean but yea I don’t feel like this ruins the character at all

they forgot to buff the enhanced lightning port, it's not worth it for 2 bar 😪
Forgot to mention stormcell and ex stormcell both have more recovery

Storm cell needed nerfed. I never relied on it so I don’t notice as much I guess. It does take up 75 percent of the screen so it can’t be so OP. Plus, people abused the hell out of it 🙄

As a Raiden Main I ABSOLUTELY agree with you. Little too much. I don't understand most of these changes. His electric charge takes longer to activate? Why? Netherrealm needs to buff more not nerf

@@ellisi6439 it's used as a combo extender. If you do the tutorial combos for Raiden there's one where you use it.

The 221 nerf was a few months ago unfortunately...little by little their taking away his mix ups, he already struggles enough compared to other characters as far as 50/50s go.
Air 221 bounce was gone months ago. I was pretty bummed.

there is always one character that does drive me away from NRS games and Raiden was that one here, seeing him get the nerf bat shattered against his skull does make me happy and made me come back to the game
