That cherry cake reminded me of campfire cobbler we used to make in the boy scouts when I was a kid. You just dump a can of pie filling in a dutch oven, pour a cake mix on top of it, then toss pats of butter around on top of the cake mix, pop the lid on and put it on the camp fire
My favorite quick cake is 1 box of angel food cake mixed with 1 can of crushed pineapple (with the juice). Just stir lightly and bake till golden. So yummy.

I make that fudge as part of my Christmas gift goodies bundle I make for family every year. I use peanut butter chips instead of peanut butter but it can be mixed up - Mint chips & chocolate frosting for instance. They're big hits
My favourite summer cheap desert is fridge tart (yskastert) 500ml flavoured yoghurt you get to choose), 1 packet of jelly (the pudding not the smear, you get to choose the flavour again), tin of condensed milk.. and a packet of (tennis biscuits - a thin coconut biscuit) to line the dish you make it with in as a crust... Dissolve the jelly in 500ml hot water, add condensed milk, and yoghurt and mix it all up.... pour into your dish lined with the tennis biscuit crust, then put in fridge overnight to set... it is super sweet until it is set... super easy to make as you jut mix it all up in one dish then pour it over your cookie lined flat dish, or bowl.

Happy Birthday Phoebe. 16 is avery exciting age. If you use frozen strawberrys as well you dont need to put it in the freezer it is good to go. I love to use buttermilk wit rasberrys and a drip of honey...mhhhhh.
Hey Barry, cheers for another inspiring video! I used your classic brownie recipe with an added splash of blended up chilis for a party, and they turned out awesome. That little kick of heat really meshed with the rich chocolate taste.
I feel like you should always use crunchy peanut butter for fudge. May be unpopular but I always enjoy peanut butter fuge with extra crunch in it. Now brownies are another story. Despite what my wife says, brownies should never have nuts lol
If you do a snack masala fries are great and it's just oven chips with a pot of masala sauce. soak the chips in 3/4 of it then put them in the oven and heat up the last bit to drizzle over them, then sprinkle with herbs. Happy Birthday Phoebe
On the frozen banana front, from experience, yes, peel before freezing, it's a PITA to peel them when they're rock solid (though, dunking in some hot water to defrost the skin kind of works, but it's so limp that it's a mess to peel still!)... :P

I make PB cookies that are only 3 ingredients! 1 cup PB 1 cup sugar 1 egg 12 mins @ 350° (sorry for American measurements) We add vanilla extract, chocolate chips or M&M's as optional ingredients. They taste good left in rounded mounds to cook or pressed down with a sugared fork. Note you cannot use good quality PB for this recipe. It has to be the "jif or Skippy" type and not natural or fresh ground.
I think that if you had just the very basic at home, flour, leavening agent, sugar, and flavoring, you could mix up this too. large 2 1/2 cups sifted flour, 3 tsp baking powder, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla, as the base and then add the 2 cans of fruit filling or for cake without fruit mix, add enough water to make a good batter, about 1 1/2 cups water about just put in the 1 cup and then add water while stirring to make a good cake batter, that will replace the 1 to 2 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, and 1/2 to 3/4 cup of milk in a standard yellow cake recipe from scratch. Grease and flour the cake tin, or cup cake tin can use cake papers, or a greased skillet if making pancakes. I expect if using 2 cans of fruit filling to use the larger amount of flour and baking powder. for a Medium 1 3/4 cups of flour, 2 tsp baking powder, probably only use 1 can of fruit filling and no water either.
For the white chocolate moose, I added a very little bit of cream to the chocolate before whipping it, like you did, but my chocolate turned into a hard mush, then into a biscuit type texture after it had cooled fully 😥

Another quick one is to blitz about 400g of frozen berries in a food processor with 70-100g of castor sugar then blend in an egg white until creamy
You should have layered in some cubes of cake or biscuit along with some more fruit to make a white chocolate parfait.
