- A new Mpox strain has been identified in the Democratic Republic of Congo, causing concern among health officials.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that the current risk of spread is low, but this discovery has sparked discussions about the role that wealthy nations like Canada can play in containing the disease.
Canadian scientists have been monitoring the disease since the fall and are part of a team working to track and contain the spread.

The WHO should be disbanded, and canada should leave the table from them. Undemocratic powers, and overstepping personal rights. Recommendations can be looked at, but each country should make independent decisions. Not like what happened during the plannedemic.
