Hey grubby don't be afraid to throw those portable shields on non giant units like those scorpions. Even crawlers with the shield turn into a menace against anything not Vulcan and then you can sell it to get the shield back.
crawlers probably the best unit tempo wise for the shield. if they level, they start leveling every turn then they have to actually do something to counter a pack of crawlers lol
Oh man nice to see you're sticking with this sleeper game. Also, mad respect for having Zero right in the beginning for the music rotation and more AC music after.
Grub you can customize your units skills! You spend some of the tech points and can choose new skills for each unit. Many choices! And dont forget to try yourself on the survival modes!

I think your opening setup round 1 was a bit better with the vertical fangs, it helps against sledgehammers because it will more likely cause multiple to lock onto 1 fang instead of spreading out their shots
the difference is minimal for that, only really matters for pheonixes. sledges have splash anyway so double shots still kill 3 instead of 6.
@greuju I agree it's minimal especially later on but it can make some difference. The bigger difference is for example vertical sledges locking on at different times so they don't overkill thus being more effective
Mechabellum is so fun to watch…with Grubby only ofc…remember that Rhino can solve all your problems, more or less!

3d camera movement is so OP
Little tip for crawlers is to place some vertically behind each base/pillar. That way each squad splits into 2, so it takes longer time to clear them by aoe.
Hackers are best:
1) Late game
2) Counter medium and large units; terrible if you can't clear chaff for them right away
3) In combo with a high (consistent) damage unit like melting point
4) Range and "recover hp" upgrades
This combo lets your damage units aid the hacker in stealing enemy units of high value very quickly. Since once enemy hp matches hacking progress bar, you steal the unit. With the upgrades, you can now have a full hp enemy melting point, vulcan, war factory, or fortress to shoot their units and pull agro of enemy units around it so your units live longer. Which buys time for you to hack their next big unit.
Outside of that scenario, hackers suck. Situationally broken in 4 player free for all. Because you can hack the experimental giant units everyone has to fight before you go for each other's bases.

You got countered hard in the last game, a couple of stormcallers in r3 would have probably put that guy on his back foot.
I've lately have had good success getting my Scorpions on Acid+Siege, they're the good stuff.

The server code just determines which chat room you get in. You can matchmake against anyone in the world.

I would argue, that ppl know what the doing on 1500+ MMR...
@@EluminAtiCK 1500+ is top level. its much more then "know what they are doing" we dont know the average mmr. but it should be around 800-900 i imagine. 95k + 700mmr is pretty low. 95k is a lot of games with not a lot of mmr progress.
@@boom7713 well... not all players always do best to win. try new tactics, play for fun, lose on purpouse. etc. High mmr is mean not too much.
