Closing the gaps between the two which are Income and equality is not an easy task because Filipinos are still subjective in terms of their judgements. We are taught to be reserved at all cost. People need to be educated about defying discrimination against low earner citizens and accepting “the differences” in the society. Rich people always have the edge of getting the best while the poor gets nothing. On the other hand; Gender, sexuality and color are also being discriminated and marginalized in our cruel society. People need to be opened, have understanding and be accepting to avoid gaps. The best that we could offer to the rest of the world is our innate hospitality and genuine smile. Closing the gaps between the two which are Income and equality is not an easy task because Filipinos are still subjective in terms of their judgements. We are taught to be reserved at all cost. People need to be educated about defying discrimination against low earner citizens and accepting “the differences” in the society. Rich people always have the edge of getting the best while the poor gets nothing. On the other hand; Gender, sexuality and color are also being discriminated and marginalized in our cruel society. People need to be opened, have understanding and be accepting to avoid gaps.
The best that we could offer to the rest of the world is our innate hospitality and genuine smile. Filipinos are loved because of our high key sensibility and low key profile. We don’t demand more other than be respected and appreciated as a human and as a filipino. 😊
