As a member of the press, I was present in the lobby of the Beverly Hilton when the paramedics arrived. That entire scene was surreal. They locked the entire hotel down. No one in and no one out. Press photographers were forbidden to leave the lobby, go up the stairs or take the elevator. Whitney was on the 4th floor. The paramedics left with an empty gurney. After which, the crime wagon came to process the scene. After 2 hrs. they left. Movement was allowed again. However, Whitney's body was not removed from the hotel until the next morning. So those devils partied like it was 1999 in the ballroom while Whitney's lifeless body lay 4 floors up. The vibe was extremely weird that night. One note of correction on this report. Bobby Brown did NOT introduce Whitney to drugs. She has admitted that she got into drugs at age 15, years before she knew Bobby. Even Bobby said it was Whitney who turned him onto hard drugs. I have talked to and interviewed them both on several occasions.

(Whitney didn't even know bobby brown at that time growing up. This is true because I'm from New Jersey (Newark) & I know someone who went to school with Whitney & knew her family (mother CH) even to high school Whitney didn't even have a recording contract. I met Whitney through church association CVBC & NHBC in the 1970s she was grammar school way before this all happened. But getting back to Mr Clive Davis (hands down) confirmation I heard from 3 different people that it was that Mr CD was the master behind Whitney's death. Myself, I believe firmly that when Whitney took a bypath from church to the world, this is what ended her life so abruptly & tragically.

Whitney fought for her life, her hotel room was a mess, a broken TV on the floor and stuff everywhere. Whitney was found beaten and bruised in the bathtub with a severe cut which split her lip. What they did not find in the room nor in her body was *DRUGS!*
Nothing and No one could or would ever touch Whitney without Clives blessing or orders, she was his biggest investment to date. I believe Clive definitely gave the order and he's the one that benefits the most from her death.

Whitney made Arista Records but she'd also cost them a lot of money whenever she'd take her years long hiatus between projects. I remember when Whitney signed that $100 million dollar contract, she wasn't doing well, she had missed shows, and been in the headlines for all sorts of drama, and she still owed Artist an album under her current contract and yet instead of dropping her they offered her even more money to stay with them, I knew then he'd never let her go.
Clive would've dropped any other artist years ago if they ever behaved the way Whitney did even once. But Whitney, he held onto even after she'd given him every reason to let her go including trying to leave which is what ultimately got her killed.

It's usually for 10 time the artist actual earnings or what they anticipate their earnings will be. These policy's alone instantly make many of these artists worth more dead than alive. Got an artist that's not selling like they used too, got an artist that's always trying to challenge your authority, got an artist who's live shows have become a disaster and they can't tour anymore, enact the policy, get the money, and you don't have to deal with the artist anymore, or their family because the record company is always the sole beneficiary on these policy's. There's a name for this type of policy, I just can't remember what it is. The record company usually ends up with the artist catalog too unless the artist owned their catalog and it goes to their estate or family after their death. The record company may or may not have the money from the catalog, but they will always have the money from the insurance policies.
