@@goldwally1428 there’s stupidly expensive $15k stuff, and then there’s this bag that’s $520, much more easily attainable. I’d argue that women NEED bags, because we apparently aren’t worthy of pockets, but a leather bag is a luxury.
Bags were statements way before influencers abused and overused it. For many other accessories aren’t practical, where bags do the job.

I had the same problem and 10 years into it I actually opened my own small business😂 I'm glad someone out there is doing this for the bags though because I don't know about bags as much!

I saw a display bag with bad glazing at the Paris boutique and it was really disappointing. The leather on various bags were also really stiff not luxurious at all. I went with hope of getting 2-3 bags and left with none
There are some amazing quiet luxury it’s coming out of Spain the craftsmanship and design quality is amazing esp when you compare to all the usually(over-hyped) hyped design . Another bonus no rude SAs!

I've beem to Ubrique several times, as it's only about an hour away from where I live. The leather retailers in the town are a bit disappointing, it's a very small place.

The only reason I didn’t choose this brand is it looks to have easy access for pick-pocketers.

@@tanner.leatherstein did you buy the bag directly from the company or did they gift it to you? I have seen some CZcams videos claiming that the quality had gone down and that customer service is not good if something goes wrong with the bag.
I purchase Polene and no quality issues so far. And customer service in my case has always responded. I bought a white bag that on the website looked like a bright white and arrived greys color. I complaint and they changed the website photo and let me change it for other color.

I'd be really interested to see you do a review of dr martens shoes, im considering getting them since theyre leather and seem decently priced, but people also say their quality has gone down in recent years so im not sure its worth it. Hello, I'm from Bangladesh. There's this up and coming luxury leather brand called "Wildwoven". Quality leather, they mostly make wallets, but now they also have leather watch boxes, leather belts as well. It would be great if you could review it. The price is not very high either. I'd say they're pretty cheap, considering the fact the watch boxes cost less than 50 USD

Yes, I have 3 Sézane bags and I'm curious to know if their price point is justified and worth it. Thank you so much for doing a follow up Polene video. This makes me more confident to go ahead and invest in the brand after recent feedback saying the quality has deteriorated in order to meet growing demand.

In Italy we are all told we have the best craftsmen for leather. Is it true?
Polène now 14/6/2024 the least expensive range runs $700, at least by us. Perhaps it's A$ but it is listed as plain $.
A brand I am interested in is Tusting. They're quite an old money/establishment UK brand but I'm interested as I personally know the family who owns it (I'm definitely not old money lol)

I purchased the Polene numero neuf a few months ago. The inside stitching was uneven. Glue was coming off the straps and the inside lining. I like their design and materials. The current craftsmanship issues gives me pause to purchase more. I hope they address these issues.

@@tanner.leatherstein I shared with Polene some of the issues by sharing pictures and videos, but a solution was not forthcoming. The last response was, "...we confirm that your Number Ten does not present any defect..." I hope they address these issues.

I don't understand why so many bags have that awful "pebble" texture. I would love to see some smooth leather.
What about colombian brands? Colombia also has leather manufacturers and I want to buy some but they are too expensive for me, I instead travel to Bucaramanga a city in Colombia and buy the brandless leather bags they sell there, also the shoes.
I saw a lot of reviews about their bad quality, they increased the price and highly reduce quality that people are complaining that bags break after one month which is craaazy for the price
Plus their customer service is really bad
And they have no guarantee on their products.

I think you need to reevaluate this brand. The girlies are not loving the imperfections and lack of customer service coming from Polene. Customer service and the shopping experience are part of buying luxury, and the product should be perfect.

Mine fell apart very quickly. I bought it in India. The leather was nice but the stiching, useless. I’m going to take it to a local craftsman for reassembly.
