I'm no serious boxing fan, but I do wonder if Spence can establish the rhythm of the fight with his jab. As was mentioned toward the end of this video by the interviewer Pacquiao throws punches in bunches. If Spence lands the jab he disturbs Pacquiao's rhythm, but Pacquiao has already committed to throwing 3 or 4 punches and unless it's a really strong jab that is going to do more than just disrupt Pacquiao's rhythm, then he is gonna land a few of his own and so he might at least nullify any advantage landing that jab on him would achieve, and perhaps even help Pacquiao to re-establish that rhythm before Spence can gain any advantage.

I remember Manny when he was 16yrs old started to box. My girlfriend was filipino in hong kong in 1995, i went to meet her parents June that year & her family didn't know who he was i always followed boxing. In 3 years from that time my inlaws laughed and said how did i know he was going to be a great boxer. I said cause he fights with pure heart to help his family which is rare to fine. Manny lived a very tough life growing up & cause of knowing his history when i went to thr market in the Phil. I always and only smoked a stick when I would find a kid selling them to help him knowing they were helping their family, that was because of Manny. I would pay 25 Peso's for a stick instead of 5 peso's the exchange rate US dollar was 50 Peso's for 1 US dollar. Pack of cigs. was 25 peso's in year of 2006.When i left that year i gave that kid Blu 2,500 peso's for a stick cause i was leaving & getting rid of my Peso's. His face was worth the other 2,500 peso's i gave him & he grabed my hand and put his forehead on my hand that they do for their elders to show respect and i said ok Blu thank u for that, but here's my custom & i huged him & told him to take care of his family. 15 years later he's 25yrs. old & has a 2 beautiful little girls and is part of our family. Life is good.

The problem with Spence jab is, it's not that fast and Manny is good at countering it especially with his split counter and upper cup counter.

Manny is at a height disadvantage against a southpaw. Those counters are likely to not be as easy to come by in this fight.
The thing is that Spence is not using the jab for damage, it is to catch and grab opponents toward him then release body punches which is a dirty trick but not illegal, Algieri pointed it out and there is a breakdown about it on CZcams. Remember Pacquiao having trouble with horn which uses the same kind of tactic and Pacquiao is 42 now, it will drain him specially on later rounds.

what everybody missing is Pacman hasn't been knocked down by anybody except Marquez, literally no one. He has a diamond face iron chin. Hard hitting Spence's problem is if Pac can take his best punch, Pac's not gonna be slow and Pac gonna come in bunches.
The key is the bunches part. Pac needs to throw in bunches more than he has the past couple of fights. Hopefully he has the energy to do so throughout the fight.

If Manny is quick enough to counter which i believe he can do, i feel like it’ll be a problem for spence. the reason i say this is because, Pac’s speed and even at the age of 42 is incredible. there are few boxing greats that don't have L's. the problem with some ppl today is that assume a 0 makes you great. that only having a 0 should keep you in the ring. oldheads, they know and saw, ok you lost that fight but get in the ring and keep fighting. Losing, doesn't make you a loser...it teaches you resilience or it should.
@@SuperTruthful Another good example is Gabriel Rosado... He has 7 Losses, but he is now coming back way better than what he was. He never gave up, and that has earned him more respect and more fans.
@@AlexB-21 Yes, i've heard that. Losses, any defeats in life and it applies to boxing should be a teacher. I have no idea why people think cuz someone has lost fights they shouldn't be able to fight again. That's not life. I do hope that this is Manny's last fight tho....he's pushing it with Spence.
