- Note: currently, other stats such as attack speed outclass intensity. The main benefit from intensity is the aura bonus which is only temporary.
That is why I say intensity could be the best secondary stat, only if you are using poison, magma, acid, ash, metal (aura), iron leg (focus). Even then, the other stats like speed, agility, and size are usually better.

Using max intensity with poison is insane, and using it with fire as second magic makes the clouds really blinding.

there are probably many more effects of intensity that we might not know of but I know that one of them is increasing the damage of crystallized

so you are telling me, if i get lucky and get a high defence argos set (the defence given can range up to higher than sunken if your lucky), i will get more health than sunken and be able to do more DOT + area denial. not to mention resistance aura gives even more hp.
@@NgGuanYoong I dont know much about jewelcrafting n stuff since I pretty much stopped playing on the brewing update but for sure argos set gives more hp with aura than sunken( depends on your magic or fs but ik metal gives 500-1k depending on intensity and base hp), but you might wanna reconsider since aura been nerfed the past few updates.
3:40 On top of those magics, also include Glass. The number and size of shards produced increases with intensity.
There is 1 weapon that's affected by intensity, the Lion's Halberd's seismic slash move makes rocks that you throw (the damage calculation is bugged so they deal less damage than a nerf dart but thats besides the point) intensity makes those rocks bigger
yeah but no one uses seismic slash cuz that move is dog and does like 150 damage and doesnt go very far

As a Magma + Metal Mage with full Argos set, I can confirm Intensity is really good for this kind of things
3:20 Its bugged right now. It only makes the duration longer when stunning npc's, not players. Players will still be stunned for 1s even with full instensity.

intensity increases some weapon attack size , when i got the 2 pieces of argos set(helmet,chestpiece) my katana first move size increased by a lot and my claws second move become huge

Unrelated question to intensity, but can you perhaps make a graph about the power scaling like at what point does it starts giving less benefits compared to less power, or perhaps make the equation?
more than likely the aura stats are all going to revolve/be around the same considering it did that for the DoT and defense so let's just say about ~60% buff for 80 and ~240% buff for max
Power is directly proportional (I think)
1 power is 1 extra damage
power will always give you 1 extra damage
Ice with sailor using 2 hard argos and 1 amp also strong amulet and arcsphere

vetex is going to nerf power and defense soon anyways so might as well be creative and anti meta by using Intensity stat(with power as main of course)

Im water/ice mage and lemme tell u intensity rlly doesnt do a whole lot. Ye it keeps them frozen for a little longer but id def focus on power rather than intensity

Once I finish my FPS killer build (Ash and Magma) focused on intensity, it's over for you, laptop players.
If the reason why you are trying to go for an intensity vuild is the Hazard effect DO NOT try it, puddles as well as clouds are glitchy for now and they can even dissapear due to these glitches or not even appear at all. Making a full intensity build useless. If you wanna try intensity try using hybrid builds.
Or you could just use Glass, which has Glass Shards as its hazard (physical bricks that just get ragdolled, dealing contact damage and bleeding on hit). Yes, I tested it.

health and power take priority over intensity no matter what, especially in the current meta. if u want intensity, just use some argos pieces
Using a good 110 intensity as a light conjurer makes people blind more easily i’d assume. Which makes my build all the more better. Don’t sleep on blind, light mages, its useful and very annoying to deal with
i've been a light mage (paladin but let's ignore that lol) and even if since arcane odyssey my secondary stat was intensity it never seemed like intensity did anything to how blind people were. but i may be wrong .-.
yo i recently made a video about my max hp paladin build and i had a max intensity set and a full defense set (intensity set aura hp around 3.2k) (defense set aura hp 4k) did auras get nerfed?

I mean intensity can be useful sometimes but it is not as useful as the most used stats like defense and power. Intensity is mainly good to increase the amounts of puddle a magic which can generate puddles make. It also helps in turning the ships more faster. But these come nowhere as compared to what other stats do.
so we are just gonna ignore all the other buffs intensity gives that were mention by this guy and the wiki.

@@mr.g8968 should be intensity_per_jewel * 8 assuming nothing with jewels beats intensity amulet (so 278 + 6 * 8 = 326, or 342 after jewel buff)

More intensity does almost nothing for dot magics, it’s mainly hazards an aura
Bro you can just re-apply your dot, you don’t need it to last 30 seconds
The only ones intensity is arguably good on are plasma, and MAYBE fire
