A Title like Fist of the North Star - I mean how stupidly cool is that - primitive badass faces, anabolical levels of testosterone and muscles, a military grade level of offensive acupuncture, exploding bodies, a... aaaaaaaaaaaatatatatatatatatatatata------WWATATAAAAWWWWWW, thrown in for good measure by one of the coolest voice actors ever, this kind of soundtrack, dialogues that make you laugh no matter how much you try not to..... There's too much awesomness in this anime series/movies concentrated. Just too much. It demolishes any attempt to rate it in any normal/trivial way. It goes beyond mere praise. All of it makes this better than any other anime. It's just too funny, too brutal, too good looking & sounding. Any criticism or dislike is already dead and therefore meaningless. You have already lost if you try not to love Hokuto No ken. Ps I love this soundtrack, love the series, it was the first anime I ever saw so many years ago and it is - and always will be - the very best, with nothing coming anywhere near its level of awesomness. The music inspired Dragon ball to be born while the animation inspired jojo to be born. That's what makes Fist of the North Star such a masterpiece since it put both together little knowing they'd come to life in the future. *Hope to God someone can bring it back as something new*
I agree wholeheartedly. But if you look at it nowadays, it'd be a bit more challenging to adapt completely. The manga could get close to something like Berserk in terms of violence and gore. But still, there's a chance with streaming services being WAY more lenient than TV.
