    God’s main ambition for us is to be like Jesus. Bill Johnson challenges us to recognize how the relationships that challenge us are making us more like Jesus. We need people that don’t think like us to smooth us out and become greater.

    I just listened to this sermon twice! Thank you for a different perspective. I have served on my church family’s prayer team for a couple of years, then I allowed myself to become so overwhelmed with the 4-5 pages of requests each week that I felt powerless and in pain mentally. I began to find excuses not to meet with these prayer warriors because I honestly thought it’s too much, there are too many problems, etc. Thank you for showing me that these people are in my life, not for ME to fix but that God can reveal how much more growth and dependency in Him I need! I’m so glad you guys are here and you’re not ashamed to speak truth into our lives. My pastor says our purpose is to love God, love people. Thankful that is true with you all to! 🙌🏻🙏🏻

    Income has income tax. There are millions of people who are willing to take my greatest frustration if they can have my greatest privilege 👏🏽Powerful! God I’m thankful for my pains- it’s a setup for great things! Amen

    You just lifted the condemnation off of me, I came under listening to you last teaching, I believe it was in Emotions and Mental Illness. Your "yoke adjustment" is what I believe I have experienced my whole entire life, from a very early age, I loved and forgave even my worst abuser's, because I understand they were not all evil and sin, but had the light of God in them, no matter how faint, it seemed I could see it. Tell me Bill Johnson, am I mentally ill then??? Decieved??? I am humbly and honestly asking you. And I can only pray God will get this to you, or I will receive answers here someway. But most of all, I pray you can address it personally yourself.

    Wow. I am such a struggle believer, by that I mean that I struggle to maintain faith. I used to think that god had forsaken me when he put me in painful situations. I would lose faith when god tried to make me more like Christ. This has really changed me. I now see that these experiences have only led me closer to god. This has renewed my faith. Thank you!

      @@janetlanders8220 That's so cool to hear, Janet! I have been noticing SO MUCH "false (yet aggressive) advertising", almost everywhere I turn, has been more & more on the rise, & I been wantin to GET AWAY FROM it all, but hadn't researched, yet, how much it'd cost to have the commercials removed, & you blessed me with that knowledge right here, so thank you! (The message of this sermon, though, has got ME thinking that perhaps, prior to me purchasing that no-commercials-program, I oughta pray for, claiming the powerful blood of Jesus Christ over, each advertiser & their companies, whoever they are, though, as they try to "interrupt" my focuses!)

  • @tomfreedom3259
    @tomfreedom3259 Před 3 lety

    Be careful not to implement this message as a one-size-fits all. Because both God and the devil send people into our lives. It would be bad to tolerate someone the devil sent. We are absolutely encouraged and even commanded to distinguish between who is in and who is out. The Bible pounds the warning about distinguishing (not blanket tolerating) among those who are in your inner circle. Paul separated himself from "believers" in Asia, yet he also endured by grace the spirit he called his thorn in the flesh (sent by God to keep him humble). Prayerfully consider who is in and who is out because what God says may surprise you.
