Great piece of card magic there Pete and great tutorial. I first saw this effect yrs ago performaed by Brad Christian and replayed the video to death until I finally got it.. It was so worth the rewinds!!!

Very well explained / demonstrated.
One note though, don't you remove or at minimum locate and move to the unused portion of the deck the duplicates (ungaffed) of the double facers? Wouldn't want one of the indifferent cards to match the gaff when the Ace disappears.
