- A few minutes ago in the Netherlands!! A powerful storm caused havoc in Drenthe
Thunderstorms and gusts of wind caused disruption and damage in various places in Drenthe. The A28 near Spier was closed due to trees in the road.
Trees were also uprooted in Gieten, Nijeveen and Smilde. Part of the roof of a house in Bittern in Meppel was blown off. A code orange has now been issued for Overijssel, Gelderland, North Brabant and Limburg.
