- We unbox an Allen Sport Deluxe 2-Child Steel Bicycle Trailer AST202 we bought for our 2 year old. The Allen Sport child trailer is easy to assemble and requires no tools.
On our first test ride the trailer pulls effortlessly. Turning is unrestricted and our 2 year old enjoyed the ride.

How did you fit the metal piece to the bike ?
I loosened the rear axle and it mounts on the axel then tightened it back down
What did you use to loosen it? It’s not working for me
My bike has quick release axils front and rear. I did not need any tools. If you don’t have quick release axils you will need a couple of wrenches
What’s the weight limit? I really want to take my boys riding but I don’t know how much weight these things can handle.
It has a 100 lbs max load rating and is rated for children up to 5 years old.

What made you get a 2 child trailer, if you're only using for the single child ? Genuine question, as I am looking at the single version for my lil girl.
Able to take extra stuff and gives my child more room to move around.

dog trailer . then dog can help up hills and ride down em .. ride on flats or pull .
I just got one and the hitch was missing from the package. Was not able to take the little ones out for a bike ride.
That is so frustrating hope the customer service was good and they get you one right away. Let us know how the customer service was.

How do i search this item? Can two kids really fit? I have a 2 year old girl and 3 month big boy!
Yes there is plenty of room for two kids. I don’t think I would place a 3 month old in this trailer. There is not way to keep an infant supported. Here is the amazon link for the trailer

Yes would work fine on flat dirt trails

It is not set up for hiking only to be pulled by a bike

Because gen X . We lived without the padding and protection kids have today. We lived dangerous lives and we were happy.
