    Good info, it’s 1000 ways to put wheels on the car it’s all about what are you looking for (show car) or (street Cruiser) Most important thing is getting the right wheel fitment for your car

    How is the ride? Feel bumps? Stiff? I know the less tire, the harsher the ride, do the air shocks help? I don’t want to compromise the ride to just look good.

    Not changing the rear end gear with bigger wheels or tires is where a lot of people go wrong. Bigger wheels require a higher gear. That’s where the trans problems come from

    You mean to tell me that you did ALL of those upgrades, made ALL of those suspension modifications and didn't put some type of big brakes on it???? You do realize that stopping is important as well don't you?

    • @KingJT80
      @KingJT80 Před 3 lety +2

      you dont need BIG brakes. he could just do an s10 rear disc conversion and that will be more than enough to stop the car with the proportioning valve adjusted correctly. everyone wants to spend 3000.00 on wilwood and baer brakes. way too much money for something like this

    • @byronbrown5767
      @byronbrown5767 Před 3 lety +1

      @@KingJT80 Yo.... all y'all need to realize and recognize that the bigger the rims are, the bigger the brakes NEED to be in order to stop your ride without rollin' 1000 feet BEFORE stopping.... nah'mean??? Besides, if you spendin' that much money on upgrades and modifications, $3000 ain't shit to spend.... nah'mean!!!!

    • @xaviermcfadden1
      @xaviermcfadden1 Před 3 lety +2

      Byron Brown Man you don’t know what you’re talking about you don’t need no big brake kit just because you put wheels on your car, unless you’re running 1000 hp motor or something it’s all about the look people see those big brakes and they know thats money that’s the only reason

    • @jarriouscoleman1465
      @jarriouscoleman1465 Před 9 měsíci

      @@xaviermcfadden1nah, might be expensive but bigger brakes are always a way better decision when installing bigger wheels bruh, it doesn't have to be all that expensive but you want to always know that the correct braking power is there if needed, every guy I know that has upgraded to big wheels and didn't do the brakes ended up hitting something at some point because the car wouldn't stop in time. Always remember, bigger wheels require better brakes,,,plus,,,,,drum brakes are just shit and horrible to look at,,,,I hate em

    This is soo helpful. I have a 84” Monte Carlo ss and I purchased 24’ Rucci’s and they’re staggered it was touching the frame the back rims. So adapters didn’t work at all. So I’m going to go with air shocks. So will that help me and make sure it don’t touch ? Or do I need to get my car notched??

    • @boss94ways51
      @boss94ways51 Před 3 lety +2

      Your back space is wrong...if a wheel is custom made i think a 5in.lip is the biggest you can get on a g body without getting any cutting or a notch to yhe frame...where you dont need adaptor/spacers...u must of gave rucci the wrong measurements....but but them being the maker of the wheel if u told them u wasn't notching the frame they should hv known how to cut the wheel...
