Lovely goodies!
Thanks ☺️
What a lovely haul Kristy, lots of wonderful goodies to stitch with. The ladies are crinoline ladies and I was saying seersucker as you were thinking about it 🌸
I knew the name of those ladies but I could get it out.
Lots of lovely finds Kristy - thanks so much for sharing. If you ever need other furnishing fabrics or laces let me know as I have plenty to share. Cheers, Christine
Thankyou Christine, I just acquired some at my Quilt quild at the weekend . Thankyou for thinking of me.
@@Sewbits glad you got some bit do shout out if you ever need anything. My craft room is full to bursting 😆
Your fabrics and laces are so beautiful. I’m sure you will have fun making beautiful things. Thanks for sharing. 🪡🧵♥️
I look forward to making lovely things.
You have such lovely new fabrics and laces, will enjoy watching how you decide to use them. Best wishes Lyn.
thanks Lyn
Loved watching your haul. It’s reminded me that I have things from some of the people you mentioned as well that I should pull out and use. There are a couple of really pretty pink and blue packs I got from Vintage Blend Studio well over a year ago that are just too stunning to pull apart.
I’ve was watching Sherry Iris and really like what she does, I must revisit to see what she’s up to.
You said about just listening and stitching with the video playing in the background. That is exactly what I do.
Thankyou for your beautiful comment, it makes my day. I hope I have helped you rekindle something with those goodies you have purchased.
Something I always do with wools is put them in the freezer for a week after they arrive in, in case they have any wool eating insects/eggs.
That is such a great tip!
I also repurposed a lot of things and they come with a musty smell, I take and lay them out on my porch table to air out some I let the sun shine on them. Hope that helps. 🪡🧵♥️
thankyou for that advice, I will do that soon before we get rain.
