@saurabh glad to find kdrama fans. Most writers are women a d they are paid well and in Korea it's mostly women who watch it. You have watched quite a bit too. The stories are really good and men and women are really treated equal here and that the world I love. Keep enjoying the kdrama world.
@@nainau6204 i started watching kdrama in July last year and till now i have finished over 58 kdrama and 20 korean movies. And still have list of over 50+ kdramas. Lol. But nowadays i am taking break.
@@saurabhchauhan1919 you know my favourite quote I made life is too short when u realise u can't watch all korean drama out there. 58 is like I thought I m insane to ruin my weekends n sometimes nights at time in row. It all started with cloy n I finished startup too. You could check japanese anime garden of words 50 centimetres apart my neighbour totoro n check if it grows on u too. Btw god bless ur career n mine

To me doctors is first, because having a tough childhood is the hardest thing a person can go through. it can destroy a person's ambition where as in the doctor's series, despite all struggles, she become successful which is hell inspiring. Also I loved the overall plot.

Good list but I disagree with Vagabond, Mr. Sunshine and King:Eternal Monarch.
The list needed Search: WWW, Mr. Queen, Angry Mom and Backstreet Rookie. The female leads in these shows were badass IMHO.
Special mention to the villain in K2 who also doubles as the female lead.
Yeah the villain lady character from k2 was so interesting to watch and performed with perfection by the actress.she outshined the boring female lead.
I don’t know about mr.sunshine and vagabond. Because i didn’t watch it. But how can you disagree with TKEM. I mean the ending of the drama show that the girl( jung tae-eul) is strong character. She didn’t go with her man in his world. Because of her father and her job and her life in Republic of Korea. Or what do you aspect from a girl to be strong.

In a world of fantasy with unicorns and stuff, Lee Ji eun and Bae Su ji have biological kids together. Obviously I am bias towards both of them. Going back to reality. I have seen 6 of the dramas mentioned here and for me, it still feels that male leads are favored by the script in all of them. Altough I wouldn't rate high the K2 kdrama, the character played by Song Yoon-ah would be for me in the top of the list for smart and strong female leads. A antihero, yes, but somehow she overpowers the main protagonist in almost every aspect. Ah, and Suzy has a better character in Start Up when it comes to smart and stong female leads.
