It's crazy how Ubisoft has garnered a reputation that, no matter how good the game looks, people will never fully trust it.
Which is why I'm waiting for the reviews.

Starfield is like….how did you not have 6 loading screens within your ship?
Because they didn't need to load piles of useless junk. 😄
So true 😂
technically they did have loading screens is just that its a more modern engine then the one bethesda uses so they can hide the loading screens when you're think your playing . for example right before you get close to the planet you can see the clouds change to image to volumetric clouds at that point is where the loading starts m you can tell by the frame rate dip for a second , then that cut scene where the ship is landing is another loading section.
@msg360 Sure, it's not Elite Dangerous but it is still more elegant. And cities seem more open too.
@@msg360 we know. Just making fun that BGS hasn’t figured it out yet.
I love how everyone unanimously agreed to be cautiously optimistic just because it’s Ubisoft
I really dug Avatar, but certain aspects of this do look a bit more like AC bloat. So, cautiously optimistic seems about right. I want it to be good/engaging, hope it doesn't fall into a looter/stealth shooter type vibe.

Better than Starfield: The Loading Screen Similator.
No loading screens on planets. Bethesda take notes.
There is. They just hid it so it does not break immersion. Starfield does not.
@@revbladez5773 Starfield is good but it’s not really about exploring space other than some space stations and planets. You just go onto a different planet with a loading screen and a boring screen of the game landing the ship for you.
It’s early to say that. We haven’t seen them travel from one part of a planet to another yet. From space to ground there was no “loading screen” per se, but the game was definitely loading assets in while the ship passed through the clouds. Which, to be fair, is totally fine with me, it’s got to load them in sometime.

The issue with starfield.is that you can technically land anywhere on the planet, and upon selecting a landing zone a random terrain is generated. Here you only have 3-4 landing spots that are already defined, so you just need to load the same assets into memory.

Ground to space! What a notion. Eat your heart out, Starfield, loading screen.
The Main Charakter reminds me of April from the ninja turtles 😂
Like probably most of us here, I love the Jedi fallen order and survivor games. My biggest complaint was that they never felt alive because you never really saw citizens. A handful in the second game. This actually makes it feel alive. It’s hard to be immersive if you’re the only one around. I think this looks bloody fantastic.
Yes, basically the biggest reason I never felt drawn to those games. When you look at the gameplay of the first one, it almost feels like a tech demo with a default UE map (that's an exaggeration to make the feeling I mean clearer). I never felt like there's a world there in those games, it felt more technical / mechanical. But this one has the feel and overall atmosphere and world feel of a SW game to me, and the music seems closest it's been in a long time too. The game might end up being worse than the Jedi games, but its got my interest in a different way early on.
Starfield look! thats how u hide a loading screen! lol
I'm glad to see someone recognize it's a cutscene. It's a great transition but it will probably have like 5-6 set landing zones that will all be towns. That way you can have the same cutscene in engine every time you land at that town. Once you select land I'm pretty sure it's just an on rails cutscene.
@@toddhoward1133 yeah probably. At least it is more immersive than starfield landings.
@@Felix_FLX Well with all things considered, this is alot more doable having a few set landing spots vs being able to land absolutely anywhere. Having say 5 landing towns in the whole game means 5 cutscenes that endlessly repeat vs landing at any point on any planet in starfield. The scope of outlaws make this smoke and mirrors technique alittle more achievable for sure.
@toddhoward1133 yeah you can land anywhere in starfield but ...do you actually want to? Lol why land anywhere if there's nothing there anyway
How open world is this? For example, are the locations on Tatooine wall-fenced or could you literally ride around the planet? How many planets?
