come to New York then. Go to on of those architecturally beautiful neighborhoods. Look out the window and you'll be amazed how detailed the buildings are unlike the new skyscrapers, those classical style buildings were built as art pieces.
+JamJam That's 19th Street & Broadway just a couple blocks north of the northwest corner of Union Square Park. I couldn't count how many times I've been there. The building they are in has the original "cage" type elevator with an operator who's job is to open and close the double gates and take you to your desired floor. Very cool architecture in this neighborhood.

I live in the UK so had no idea who these two men were when I clicked on the video about Misty Copeland. When I saw them get out of the taxi in tutus I was dismayed, but it did turn out to be quite funny. The Nutcracker line really made me lol. And to any of the, I suspect young, commenters on here seeing it as disrespectful to ballet...... or dangerous to get en pointe, then just CHILL out and know that I am pretty sure that ABT and Misty would not do anything unprofessional, or to damage the reputation of dancers and their art . You might do dance lessons but you are not right about everything.

You better not think dance is easy. Trust me, with ballet, if it's in any way comfortable, you're doing it wrong, stretching is obviously pain that every dancer's learned to crave, and it's all serious cardio, especially tap.
Ya in ballet, u have to think about what ur doing and what to do to fix it and it is extremely challenging especially pas de deux
