- While traveling on Isla de Margarita the image I had changes quickly. What should be one of Venezuela's top tourist destination is desolated. The crisis Venezuela went through in the past years is more visible than I've seen before while traveling through the country. Isla de Margarita is not what is has been.

Roger if you want to see people in Margarita you have to go to Porlamar. It's the biggest city in Margarita.
Thare are poor people in New York in California in México Bogotá Roma so here in Margarita also
No debería haber pobreza en ninguna parte del mundo. Así haya gente abandonada en los Estados Unidos eso no quiere decir que deba pasar lo mismo en Venezuela. Eso se llama politizar a los pobres, nadie merece vivir en esas condiciones.

The old man portrays the reality of a Venezuela that not all youtubers show. Isla de Margarita is a beautiful place, no doubt, but there live people in situation of abndonment. Unassisted by the government, you can see there poverty and lack of touristic development in some parts of the island. Thanks Roger, for showing the reality of Venezuela in all of your videos, the Bad and the good.

Esa no es la realidad de Vzla, simplemente estamos en enero y el que es venezolano, sabe que diciembre es un mes dónde se consume de todo y 80% de lo que se consume, es alcohol y muchas cosas más, enero es un mes prácticamente muerto en Vzla, dónde todos estamos a media máquina cansados del estrés y las rumbas de diciembre. En febrero que vuelva, específicamente en carnaval y puedas decir como lo dices ahora mismo, "LA REALIDAD DE VZLA" no eres más que un pajuo muchach@
Isla Margarita is a venezuelan state called Nueva Esparta, have 500.000 persons previously (today probably 350.000). Is very big to be tourism in every corner.
You need to come, to Porlamar or Pampatar, La Asunción has been usually like that
in Venezuela desolated places like that are usually dangerous

Is it easy at western union? Or what other ways do you recommend? Can I pay by card ? Or is this not recommended? Any advice would be much appreciated.thanks

Roger, enero es un mes prácticamente muerto en roda Vzla, diciembre es un mes de celebraciones, alcohol y mucho consumo, nuestra cultura es asi, toda la vida en Vzla los eneros han sido meses que estamos a media maquina, descansamos del estres y el alcohol wue se xonsumio wn diciembre.. Vuelve en carnaval, en febrero, y veras a lo que me estoy refieiendo, luego de esas fechas, nos volvemos a apagar y revivimos en semana santa que es en marzo y abril, luwgo de wso, nos reactivamos todo año ali..
