The chrome on the grills began in 1947-that's pretty much the only difference between the 47-49 and the 41-46. IH was late to the post-war party for civilian trucks. Without the same extensive dealer networks that GM, Ford and Chrysler had to tempt the returning GIs neither International or Studebaker would survive-in spite of the fact that their trucks were great workhorses; most were "'Rode hard and put away wet". At least, my 1949 KB2 was. Keep the videos coming!
I do know that the 47 started with the Chrome on the grill hard telling what year the truck is though as I have only found a serial number On the inside of the cab I'm pretty sure the Vin number is on the cowl which is missing the tag. I will definitely keep the videos coming
@@autobuddyjoe4816 IH vin numbers are on the left forward frame over the top of the straight axle. Mine is a '41 K1 short box. Nova sub frame is too wide and you cut away your vin number. I installed MII and 8 inch Ford rear and F100 leaf springs.
My best tip to you to get more views if that’s what your looking for is to use as many hashtags as you can in your description and start doing small shorts of the highlights if you haven’t already

Thank you very much for the tips. I will definitely try to do that. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving
We live vicariously through others efforts.
Edit: Personally I feel that shortening the bed you'll lose the ability to fill it up with gold dabloons.
In the next video you'll see that I have the cab and the bed back on it and it is growing on me I'm not going to shorten it
