- Two full weekends in the United Kingdom at Santa Pod Raceway was an experience that HAD to be shared. Non-stop entertainment and action was supplied all weekend long to keep the thrills high for weekend campers and day attendees alike, and there was no shortage for either! From stunt shows to car soccer, there was so much fun to indulge in that made two weekends almost not enough time! We hope that through this video you can see that there is still so much more that Santa Pod has to offer and that it makes it onto your own bucket list!

Every track owner in the US should see this video! This shows that to remain a viable entertainment alternative you have to think outside the box and get creative! My hats off to Santa Pod ownership. They clearly get it.

To fill in the blanks for those who hadn't heard what happened in London: After the first even (Doorslammers) I went to London for a few days to hang out and go sight seeing. My laptop & camera bag were stolen with everything I had shot the first weekend. The locals helped me out a ton to get me back to shooting so I could bring you the videos you're seeing (plenty more to come)

I was gutted to hear that happened on your first visit. Not a great start. Glad you enjoyed Santa Pod. Been going nearly forty years. It improves as a facility year on year.Current owner knows the game.... if you do it right they will come.

Santa pod is the best ive been 10 times and it doesnt get boring and im happy that 1320 has finally gone.

The Americans do a whole lot of things extremely well. So do us Brits. So do the Aussies and the Canucks. So do lots of other folks. We can all learn a lot from each other and we all work better when we work together - let’s hope that continues.
Every track owner in north America should aspire to put on event's like this. Garret as a event organizer I hope your paying attention. That is one hell of a show they put on.

It's great living in a county that loves motorsport.
We have crail raceway, knockhill circuit, driftland, lochgelly & cowdenbeath stock cars and 4x4 schools near me. It's just a shame they aren't all in the same place but that's being greedy

Been going to this track for almost 20 years and it never gets old!
I've sat on that green banking at the sides of the track when the jet cars were racing. Honestly, it's the scariest noise I think a person can hear apart from an A10 Thunderbolt firing it's cannon. The jet cars feel like they are literally ripping up the earth underneath them on the start line, then ripping apart the space/time continuum when they take off. Extremely violent, much vibrations and many shocked faces. Awesome, especially as a small boy with a passion for cars.

they used to let us stand behind the start line when the jet car was on, then they built the garages. was the best seat in the house!

i remember watching video footage of the 1982 Vanishing Point rocket car running under 4 seconds and shattering the windows on the bridge over the track
i saw sammys last uk run with that car i think 2006 at santa pod, he put it in the field on the first outing, then taped the car back together and ran again for us the next day
yeah, I thought it was kinda slow, for a jet car. They were faster than TF and FC, everytime I've seen them.
Given what you see on Discovery, etc, those jets were dogs...

I was at the pod 10 years ago for a 2 day car show was good then but it looks way better now. Will have to revisit it one day

We are so lucky to have this track in the UK. Feel privileged to be able to run my car there. Staff are fantastic top to bottom. Friendly, make you feel so at home, and very professional. Security staff drive through the pits and camping all day and night, interact with you and keep the place safe n secure. Marshals saved my car when I had a fire last year. Thank you Santa Pod and 1320video for coming over.

Great video 1320 , just want to give some thanks to the track crew and in particular start line guys , work their asses off every meeting .

It's way cheaper than chasing it by building a car to go that fast. I spent $400 to make 10 laps in a stock car that was a detuned cup car and felt I definitely got my money's worth.
Worth every penny . I bet they only make about 50 bucks per pass, the cost to run a car like that is HUGE . I spent that just to go sky diving once .YOLO and you can't take it with you

Also back in 2005 Mr methane was in the event tent and my mate voted me up on stage. The sod let one rip 💨 in my ear. It's still ringing today 😂

Terry Grant is a proper legend. I mean Petrol Head Royalty. He started the whole car on 2 wheels being everywhere. He did some Commercial for MG with him on 2 wheels. Does alot of film stunts and drifting. Goodwood runs etc. Legend.
