Whenever playing stuff like this in sports games, even the small stuff like the mid-late 2000’s madden games where you could choose what your parents looked like…. Made it feel all so real back then. Lol. Seeing the T-Mobile sidekick in this. Just takes you back. Makes you think how silly all that seems now. Hahaha
This game was so ahead of it’s time, damn I miss these days.
The original Mycareer and better than some of the corny storylines 2K had. The gameplay was decent it's a shame Sony stopped making basketball and football games!!
NHL games and F1 games had done by SCEA and they have no more.

This had Sony cinematic style that dominates their exclusives today!
From the beginning of The Kid vs. Big W (NBA 06) to MyPlayer vs. Jackson Ellis (NBA 2k14). I guarantee 2K borrowed inspiration from this game. Had everyone up to NBA 09: The Inside. Way ahead of its time.

This game has some good detail, obviously wack gameplay but good detail. Something that these new games lack

Which is better 06 or 07? I have 09 for the PS2 and it's watered down from the PS3 version and terrible.

NBA 09 on ps3 has 3 stories in the game but they are short. 06-08 has a story that intertwines with each other.
Do you get to create your own character
You can edit the default character but he remains as being called Kid.
Derek Turner thank you. I want to get both 06 and 07 to play the stories but I was worried you can’t change your character like you can in 06
@@TheRealCptObvious1 If you create a guy on 06 he carries over to 07 and then to 08.
