He nearly did, he was beating Izzy up pretty bad to the leg and against the cage, and sooner in the fight, he actually was having a better performance than their 3rd fight until getting caught.
Poatan getting slept was awful but Izzy celebrating that 1-3 is the worst thing in decades.

About 283, I can't fault anyone for leaving at the end of an event, what you don't understand as a viewer at home is the fans might've been waiting in lines and sitting around for 12+ hours at that point, and still be stuck behind a several hour drive home in traffic, thats why people leave right away sometimes rather than sit through the "credits" aka the post main event media. It's not that they don't want to hear what Glover had to say its that they might have to work in the morning or take care of a kid and that takes precedence over an entertainment product. Viewers at home are disassociated from that reality.
Jiri and hill vacating was the worst thing to happen because now casual fans think that injured champs should just vacate which is just stupid for years champs didn’t even think of vacating because they knew there would be an interim title, Dana even said they told Jiri he doesn’t have to, also side note Nunes aldana was a terrible fight because aldana did nothing
For years it sucked really hard when champs were holding the belt hostage for too long, Prochazka finally showed it's possible to not be dickhead and to simply vacate the belt. Might become his greatest donation to the sport eventually.

@@Z_Rodriguez13 If it's long enough layoff, even interim is not enough. And that's the case of HW currently - interim already has its owner, but the champ won't be ready sooner than 8 months from interim belt fight. That's way too long.
Jiri was out for over a year he'd be stripped by the time he made it back anyways lol

That was Jones' fault for failing an IQ test and being pulled from the DC fight. Also the UFC knew Brock Lesnar failed a drug test too and hid it to keep him on the card, cause pulling both Jones and Brock would've been an even bigger disaster to the buyrate.

The problem with the Brazilian crowd walking out of the Glover fight is because UFC schedules their events to air in the American time zone but we're 4 hours ahead of the Las Vegas time, so the event was ending around 4 AM for us and people need to sleep.

i still don’t know how to feel about the pereira prochazka stoppage. jiri did admit he went out but it seems like in every fight he has had he seems to go out. props to alex though. he probably would’ve taken jiri’s head off if it kept going

Thing is Alex has some annoying fans but that fight also gave Izzy an annoying ass ego so it goes both ways. It was a great finish but both Alex and Izzy have annoying fans.
It worked out in his favor, he's still 3-1 over Izzy and wins the rivalry, and that outcome fast-tracked his move to 205 where he's already the champ there a year later. If Alex won that last Izzy fight he might not have a belt right now if someone else beat him later at 185, he wouldn't have had as clear a path to the 205 belt. It worked now because two people just vacated the title back to back.

Stipe is 41 yrs old, his last fight was 2 years ago and he was brutally knocked out, while Aspinall knocked out one of the most scariest prospects in the HW division in the 1st round, but yeah Stipe deserves the next title shot

Stipe also put on some of the greatest fight we've seen to date in HW, but again it's not Tom's fault Jones didn't want to vacate the belt, and it's not his fault the UFC put on an interim belt fight BUT NOT GUARANTEEING THE TITLE SHOT NEXT FOR THE WINNER.
