    we flew in september 2023 - jfk-lhr - loved the experience. we will use jet blue again for this route. solid food choice. great refreshments, snacks anytime. and great legroom even in coach... free wifi, good selection of ICE. including live tv. though not as wide a selection as domestic flights for live.

    Great review onboard JetBlue
    The catering onboard looks really nice. I love JetBlue's concept of allowing passengers to customise their meals before takeoff :)

      As long as they haven't changed too much since I flew on them I'd assume so. There will likely be different food options as they swap them every few months.

    I’m not a fan of long haul narrow body flights, but if there’s any airline I’d do it with, it would be Jetblue for sure. I’m also quite shocked as to how they managed to get slots at LHR using narrow bodies considering the airport is at capacity, and the only way to increase it is to use bigger planes.

    Nice flight review, I'm doing LGW to JFK with JetBlue in December. It looks a great airline to fly with judging by your video. I'm sure I read somewhere that you can connect your own Bluetooth headphones to the IFE system. Is that true?

    Excellent video of a brilliant flight with JetBlue. Although not a fan of short haul designed aircraft doing long haul routes JetBlue offers a wonderful alternative to those larger aircraft but with less service:amenities onboard. The free WiFi is a big plus to any flight and other airlines should stop fleecing people with high charge. I don’t know how much you paid compared to other airlines but the aircraft being full would suggest they are pricing their tickets keenly to get the pax! By the way 32lns used to be the standard seat pitch on short haul aircraft 34 ins was on long haul. You can thank the likes of Southwest and Ryanair in Europe for driving down standards on all aircraft reducing the comfort onboard

    • @LeolaGlamour
      @LeolaGlamour Před 4 měsíci

      Southwest and Ryanair are low cost airlines. If anything blame the higher cost airlines who think they can charge you more for less.

    • @davidcorbett62
      @davidcorbett62 Před 4 měsíci

      @@LeolaGlamour. Low cost airlines started the pay for everything on board… this was usual in the US but not in Europe so when Ryanair started up using Southwest as their model their standards of customer care and huge charges for everything showed the full service airlines in Europe how they could start to charge previously free onboard items such as meals etc. Prior to the likes of Ryanair etc starting up a pax on full service airlines recieved full meals on every flight. Then covic came along and gave all airlines the excuse to charge for everything onboard.

    • @LeolaGlamour
      @LeolaGlamour Před 4 měsíci

      @@davidcorbett62 Ryan air is NOTHING like southwest. RYAN air is like spirit so you are already confused.

    • @LeolaGlamour
      @LeolaGlamour Před 4 měsíci

      @@davidcorbett62 Also once again a LOW COST CARRIER should NEVER be compared to a highcost one. Also how would southwest be blamed for other airlines giving less when those airlines not only charge more BUT you also pay for bags. Southwest gives you TWO free checked bags. Two checked bags on any other carrier cost you 60-80 bucks. Also I hate to break it to you but southwest actually as bigger seats than some of the other carriers but it wouldn't matter if it didn't because again you are paying for less. UA, AA, DL should never give less because you pay more

    • @LeolaGlamour
      @LeolaGlamour Před 4 měsíci

      The only thing southwest charges you for is A boarding(but you can get that by status), alcohol, and wifi. Literally nothing else. And they have good customer service, believe me I talk to airlines all day long and they are just as good as dl. Oh and they have NEVER charged change fees or cancel fees. Other airlines before covid had fees up to 500 for changes/cancel.

    Was the flight fully booked with passengers when you head to London and back to New York? Or where there empty seats?

    • @Lunadog99

    Wow. Awesome economy class. Great food + amenity kit + free Wi-Fi. Maybe the best economy class exists. Most of the "large" and expensive companies, offer you nothing like that on longer flights... 😐 I wish JetBlue expands more in Europe, with bigger planes. Nice vid.

      it’s not like the old days (90s and prior). After 9/11, that sealed the deal on no cockpits visits. Unless you’re a big aviation blogger like Sam Chui (other than someone that works within the aviation industry), the chances of ever visiting a cockpit are very slim.

      as if that 3-4-3 777 you ride is any better, it has more middle seats, or that a350 that's also 3-4-3, or the 747 with 3-4-3, or that 787 that's 3-3-3. 1 more aisle for 1 or 2 more middle seats doesn't sound like a great bargain. A narrow body is 3-3 only two middle seats
