00:00 What is FPL Challenge?
03:19 GW30 Draft - Sport
Shared this on Twitter. Still not sure about auto-sub rules but this could work as a point of strategy:
1) Bench your best 4 players from the earliest fixtures possible (e.g. Trippier, Isak, Palmer, Petrovic).
2) Fill your starting team with 4 players who play at a later deadline that will definitely not feature. This would be injured AVL, MUN, LIV, MCI/ARS players.
3) If your benched players do well, don't make any changes to your team. If your benched players fail, replace the 'injured' players with actual good players (e.g. Bradley, Salah, Darwin, Martinez/Onana).
I will not share it 🤪🤪, let me get advantage over my competitors
Start with your best team. If a bench player plays well, then put in a non playing player from a later fixture into the starting 11. To accommodate the auto transfer.
Eg start with Kelleher, Virgil, Salah and Haaland in the first 11. If a bench player plays well, out of Petrovic, Romeo, Udogie, Gordon.
Change Kelleher, Virgil, Salah, or Haaland to a non playing player.
Muniz captain here we go
Hi Fran, what’s your league code for FPL Challenge?

I love how GENUINELY EXCITED you sound for the news 😂🎉.... Proof of how much you love the game!!!!! 💯👌🏼🔥
With a bit of luck the instant gratification crew will migrate and make top 10k attainable 😂
the amount of top 10k finishes we're all gonna have is nuts
Almost the same team... Petrović, Porro, Trippier, Robertson, Salah, Maddison, Son, Palmer, Haaland, Jackson, Solanke - Leno, Foden, Chilwell, Virgil
Haaland, Foden and Solanke are going to blank. Chilwell?!
@@user-fe3xx4nb6m You should put your money where your mouth is and put a bet down that all 3x blank.. Otherwise, try to have some fun with this!
Good luck!
Imho I think you´re making a big mistake in ignoring Fullham players. And what´s the point of picking Haaland for this GW?
The same way he’d be a good pick on most weeks given that he’s at home imo. Still one of the leading options for gs% this week despite facing Arsenal. I agree Fulham can be interesting but bar Muniz I still think there are better defenders to go with given it’s an away fixture
@@FPLFran So City against the best defensive team, and a player (Haaland) not in his best form and two poor matches for Norway is all good, but Fulham (after trashing Tottenham) playing a very poor team both in defense and attack means nothing? I don´t get that, but that probably explain why you´re so MUCH higher ranked than me. I just don´t see the logic here.
@@user-fe3xx4nb6m it means a whole lot tbh. As I said, I agree Muniz is a lovely and comparable pick, just not for defenders. Re: picks in general and assessing fixture difficulty, to me home and away is a very significant difference in football unless the team gulf is gigantic. This is an awful week for City picks all things considered - so Jackson, Muniz, Darwin all compete well.
Do you have a league for FPL Challenge?
yup league code is ocxa8k
Perfect, cheers! :) @@FPLFran
Wouldn't you want to pick a team of mostly low-owned players, as you are in effect only competing for the top spot? I guess it doesn't really make for the best content to just field 15 random players, but alas.
🤙
This ^
I think a random team will ultimately win here and there but the point I suppose is to maximise points, I get what you mean with the random nature of football but this is still the best way I would recommend people to get points. You don’t get extra points for picking low owned players. Having said Jackson, Darwin are good picks
@@FPLFran points dosent stack for next gw right? FPLC resets points every week. So no need to chase a "good" score you want to get the BEST score every week
@@imayer7098 which is why I'm still trying to pick the best players for this GW by doing it the best way I know how, just focusing it for 1GW as opposed to 6-8 at a time. We say this but some random guy will be in the team of the week and it would have been equivalent to throwing darts on a wall blindfolded so I might as well give myself the best chance.
Why play this game mode if your only going template? The rewards is weekly and only for top spots. A team like this one will honestley never ever win. Your not suppose to play this game mode like its FPL.
The aim is to maximise points not have the lowest EO at the end of the day. If you think other players get you that, then go for those. I’d happily punt on a Jackson tbf or Darwin so happy to make changes but disagree with the argument about template. Ultimately, do your own thing
@@FPLFran Jackson is not a punt this gw. Someone like Chris Wood or Wissa would be a punt.
Obviously we have different thoughts of what template is if you think that your team isnt template :)
@@imayer7098 I do think my team is 'template', I am just saying I disagree with the idea that it would never let you score the most amount of points. I am confused with the term in the first place since it appears everyone isn't at the same rank despite it being so 'good' for regular FPL.
