Dayum - 35% lye concentration - I can't quite make that out. Respect! I work at a chickenshit 29% - I am a slowpoke and need lots of time! Nice work - love the way you approach soap. Practical methods to crank out volume without being too labor intensive.

This is one of those extremely simple soaps that has lovely, sweet look. I am very partial to multi colored, swirled soaps; so, it surprises me when a simple, virtually uncolored soap grabs my attention like this one does.

Why is it so satisfying to watch the poured soap expand and straighten the liner? It's the same watching the colors change as the mixer is pulled through the batter.

I made my first batch yesterday it turned out okay. I think I wasn't patient enough for the hand stirring allowing the hard butter to melt. And the scent I chose sped up the process.
Today's patch came out perfect. I paid attention to the oil I chose & I took my time. I'm not tech savvy so I don't know how to add a pic.

So basically I just repeat them only. Ehhh boring

I use regular olive oil. I’ve heard olive oil pomace can accelerate trace and extra virgin olive oil has a green tint that can affect your colors.
You can double the Shea but run it through your soap calculator first so you’ll know exactly how much lye to use.

@@OpheliasSoapery ok ma'am. Thank you so much for your reply. All your soaps are amazing and I'll watch atleast one of your videos before going to bed. It's really soothing to watch and makes me feel very relaxed. I would love to try one of your soaps but as I live in India I don't have the chance to try it.😭😭

Is this bar especially for dry skin? Thank you for the recipe!

I would say so. The cleansing on these bars is really low :)
