love the direction this channel is going kev! just a note on the tamiya truck project. id recommend if your putting that much power through it that you get rid of the 3 speed gearbox. the gears in it aren't very strong and they've broken on mine from the slightest of power increases. maybe you will be lucky with them but if your aiming for 70mph, I think its best if it was removed. also for stability make sure that you remove any servo saver from the steering, the tamiya ones help massively with hits but they have so much play that at any high speed it makes trying to turn useless.

The first ones like a six out of 10 the second one is like a 9.5 out of 10 it’s really clear I can’t believe it’s that much more clear than the old phone.

Hey Kev as a mechanic my self anything that is metal on metal on the monster tuck need to be greased if not you will put high stress on them for example the sway bar blocks👍

Amain, Horizon or one of the big online stores still had the roller available for backorder for $399 last week. Tires and stickers are the only difference. You can put better electronics in the roller for less than the rtr price. I bought 2 in July when they first went on sale. One has got a Max 5/800kv combo and a Dumbo 6 channel with a Amazon 1/5 scale 70kg servo. All in was $900 give or take a few bucks and destroys the RTR in power. The other is still in the box waiting for whatever. Either one is a great truck and you won't be disappointed.

Omg Kev!!! I love that beast. That thing with the upgrades is truly extreme. But definitely all that extra weight is a wrecking ball on an uneven landing. I couldn't believe the way it sheared that suspension was crazy. Kevin you gotta check out Mini Z racing. they are 1/28th scale and race on indoor foam tiles, super fun, check it out you'll get hooked. should be a mini Z scene in England.
If you don't break the gearbox on the Grand Hauler it will be the diff's/axles I would recommend changing out the shit hard tyres than come with it for something like Lesu's
