I also thought that this would be important information to share, given the somewhat fish-related nature of this video. 35% of all ocean microplastics come from clothing/textiles, mostly polyester, but also acrylic and nylon as well. This is largely due to clothes made of these materials being washed, which causes these clothes to quickly erode, with the microplastic fibers entering the water system, and eventually, the sea, where they often end up consumed by fish. These microplastics can in turn end up inside us when we eat these fish. I love how the lil things in the game makes up the whole horror atmosphere. Things like when you pick up weird fishes the ding goes a little off and what I generally like is when you catch a fish and you're dragging it, it's still wiggling a little :D Love the game!

The art style is wonderful, pleasing to the eye and I like how it contrasts with the style of the townsfolk. Then the game itself is so aimple and I live the different mechanics, potential upgrades, and fishing for specific tasks.
So I "watched" Jack play this game. Basically I put it on in the background when I cleaned, cooked, played Terraria, did schoolwork etc. I saw it had a Thanksgiving sale, so I bought it last minute. When I started playing I was like "Damn the art style is good but the gameplay is mid, how do I catch bigger fish 😢" ONCE I REALIZED HOW THE RODS WORK, the game actually became a 10/10. (No, I'm not joking) I love the fishing, I love the mystery, it's genuinely scary at times, I LOVE TYCOON GAMES so upgrading my boat had me "reeling" with delight (sorry...) Bro but seriously. PLAY. THIS. GAME. Watching someone else play means next to nothing compared to the feeling of DOING it. Again, 10/10 game from Team 17. Probably my favorite from them since The Escapists 🥶🥶
i love all the references jack's made to previous playthroughs, theres "deep down dark deep down" as a subnautica reference, and the Tossboy voice. makes me wanna rewatch those playthroughs
