Great game. I'm a huge Sooner fan. Walked into a restaurant full of Husker fans and was offered a seat by them...they shared food and we swapped football stories. Great game...great rivalry...here's to the classy Nebraska fans...
This was the greatest game i have ever seen as a life long sooner fan. I almost gave up on us but my dad told me son i have seen numerous OU/ Nebraska games and it comes down to the end almost everytime. I also remembered what switzer said after the Nebraska game in 84. "Men we couldnt help the defense, terrible field position, couldn't make a first down, and then all of a sudden we make a play." I will miss playing Nebraska. A great rivalry, history and fans. Thanks for all the memories
Been all down hill since then Nebraska. Miss the big 8 and the big 12 of 20 years ago. Its college football though, who knows what the lands will look like in another 20 years!

I was at this game. It was one of the best games I've ever seen. I am such a diehard OU fan,,but man,those Nebrakska fans are sure hard to root against. They are a class act. Can;t count the number of Nebraksa fans that came up and said their congrats and how they were going to miss not playing OU in the future. Many said they hated to lose but glad it was OU they lost to.

Blame the first Commissioner for his Stupidity/Ignorance for not keeping these two arch rivals from playing every year. All he had to do was make sure that Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska played each other every year to keep things fair.

Texas single handedly destroyed the Big-12 and it sucks to not be apart of the original Big-8 any more. I really miss this rivalry!!!
Man I'm so glad it ended this way. The 2 best teams of the Big 12 battling it out in a very evenly matched game.
