This is an Oklahoma Sooners highlight video of them playing the Texas Longhorns on October 13th, 2012. This game was played in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Thank you for watching!
Jason White never entered the pros because of injuries and Billy Sims was having an outstanding NFL career before he got hurt. And Billy Vessells, another Heisman Winner went to fight for our country in war.... And Sam Bradford is doing pretty well. Not to mention Adiran Peterson is the best running back in the NFL... And who did he play for?? Oh yeah, The Oklahoma Sooners.,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for making all of Oklahoma Sooners highlights for us busy dads that barely have the time to watch a game. Thank you Holakyle.
Long-time Texas fan here. Love to hate OU. OU Loves to hate Texas... That's what's great about college football. My experience is that the majority of UT fans with any sense, have great respect for the OU program. But ya just don't say it! lol. I know I respect it. Still, when the time comes we go to hatin'... it's all good. Glad we have the greatest rivalry in the country still going strong!!
I remember watching this game at Fort Sam Houston with a UT friends of mine. I'm a Sooner grad and huge fan. The two of us had just gotten back from Afghanistan and we decided to watch this game together. Let's just say we watched together until halftime, then I watched alone.
Just for info when people look at this vid. In this game, OU's strength coach is Jerry Schmidt, recently hired by OU. The UT strength coach is Bennie Willy, who is now at USoftC. Note how physically dominate OU is in this game, they don't just beat UT, they beat them up.
This game so kicked ass in person. The joy of watching No.33 Miller in the 2nd qtr, 1st & 10..pushing the pukes down. We were in the southeast section(?) so we watched him running towards the red zone. It was amazing from every view!! Player of the Game is our opinion! Sec 31, Rw 24. watching the orange fade across the field as the beating continued!!
For anyone who missed it, there's also a video of the post-game celebration - pretty cool. Search "Oklahoma Sooners: Postgame Celebration vs. Texas" - can't post the link I guess.
I'm a husker fan watching this video simply because i like to see Texas lose. thanks for ruining the big 12 Texas....OU Vs NEB was the greatest rivalry of all time. # Lil'red&Boomer
I have more respect for Nebraska fans and the teams as a whole than I do Texas. The battle of the big reds was always my favorite time of year because both teams were always so damn solid
Probably at least 2-3 of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Baylor. A&M had absolutely no depth on defense and minimal injuries. INCREDIBLE job by Larry Jackson in terms of strength and conditioning. If you watched the Louisiana Tech game, you'd know that the secondary was A&M's weakest link last season.
I am born and raised in Houston, I went to college for a few years at OU and I am currently back home. I absolutely love my home city as well as my home state and I love being home. I HATE that school in Austin and nothing puts a smile faster on my face than seeing that school lose. This is from a native and loyal texan. I maybe biased but this is the best active football rivalry and setting in the US. Nothing says college football than a corndog, beer, and crying UT fans at the Cotton Bowl.
congrats Steelers, you got a solid QB in Jones regardless of the pundits. They said he was a first rounder last year and all he did was have a better season this year and suddenly he sucks. Look at the other Qbs he has faced and beat, Andrew Luck, RG3, EJ Manual, Ryan Tannehill, Blain Gabbert and more, most will or do start on NFL teams and some are stars already.
You know Bryce; OU and TX are both good teams; I root for TX when they play other teams and I hope you enjoy OU football when we aren't playing you! I want the Big 12 to beat everyone!
Some Big 12 treams do play defense. OU and Kansas State play great defense. It's just that agianst Notre Dame, OU failed to move the ball and make stops when they needed them. Remember that OU's defense, statisticly, is far better than it was last year.
you are seeing a clinic on conditioning coaches Bennie Wyllie for Texas and jerry Schmidt for ou! i am so glad Schmidt is back at ou!!!! Bennie can take his CrossFit stuff and go!
I live in Texas as a huge ou fan. It’s super easy to be friends outside the sport but when it comes to that week or football talk at all for that matter it brings out the worst hahaha
kore5747, might want to check your stats man, three other OU qb's have beaten Texas three years in a row, and one of them held the record for most wins that Jones beat that game. I forgot their names, but they were talking about it during the game. And yes, I am an OU fan, but I hate it when people spout off stuff like they know what they are talking about.
OU's team is pretty young also. It's a good thing Stoops pulled most of the D starters and some of the O linemen and some of the backs got to rest the second half or it would have been worse and that's not sportsmanship
This was a good win by OU but don't forget that this is the youngest team in America there are going to be some growing pains. regardless congrats on the win OU. But as always HOOK'EM!!!
Probably pretty badly. But to be fair, no one was able to stop Manzel, not even the mighty Bama. Now here's another question, if Texas A&M had been in the big12 still , who would have really stopped them from winning a national title?
to get Landry Jones' confidence back up in the endzone considering the belldozer stole that from him? hey lets not forget with 5 seconds left texas called a time out to squeak in another score.
after watching this, I started to cry. I miss playing Texas like this
Jason White never entered the pros because of injuries and Billy Sims was having an outstanding NFL career before he got hurt. And Billy Vessells, another Heisman Winner went to fight for our country in war.... And Sam Bradford is doing pretty well. Not to mention Adiran Peterson is the best running back in the NFL... And who did he play for?? Oh yeah, The Oklahoma Sooners.,
This was the first Red River game me and my wife went to. It was so sick! Already have money set aside for this year's trip. Boomer Sooner!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you very much for making all of Oklahoma Sooners highlights for us busy dads that barely have the time to watch a game. Thank you Holakyle.
This hasn't been up a full 24 hours, yet I've watched it probably 5 times. I'm gonna watch it again after I comment.
Oklahoma understands this rivalry and what it means. We do not. That and Blake Bell can't be stopped
Crazy how Texas destroyed OU that next year
Long-time Texas fan here.
One of my favorite OU-texas games!!
I remember watching this game at Fort Sam Houston with a UT friends of mine. I'm a Sooner grad and huge fan.

What a win for OU!
If your a OU hater or a Texas hater you have to admit this game is very special.
15:50 Color of the stadium: Crimson on one side, and Cream on the other! :D
One of the best catches... EVER! 6:13
It so strange to see the defense actually be good.
2021 is different :)
Cam.
That didn’t age well

Sec 31, Rw 24. watching the orange fade across the field as the beating continued!!
Best part is at 5:41, where the ref plows into a Texas player on the sideline trying to catch up to Millard. lol
at 3:34 if you pause it you can see someone wearing an Oregon t-shirt
cristian alvarado WHY THE FUCK WOULD SOMEONE DO THAT?!!
+cristian alvarado Wow really Oregon That as bad as TEXAS!
Q
😂
For anyone who missed it, there's also a video of the post-game celebration - pretty cool. Search "Oklahoma Sooners: Postgame Celebration vs. Texas" - can't post the link I guess.
@Marruz, its nothing personal. HK only does Oklahoma Highlights. You're not the only person to wonder that. Good luck for the rest of the year.
Different set of highlights this year... suck on it holakyle
awesome re-post bro, thx
I'm a husker fan watching this video simply because i like to see Texas lose. thanks for ruining the big 12 Texas....OU Vs NEB was the greatest rivalry of all time. # Lil'red&Boomer
I would honestly trade OSU and Texas to get the OU vs Nebraska series back. It was sooo much more exciting.
Lol Texas owns Nebraska
I have more respect for Nebraska fans and the teams as a whole than I do Texas. The battle of the big reds was always my favorite time of year because both teams were always so damn solid
You like to see other teams lose because your tired of seeing the huskies not make the fucking playoffs
I wouldn’t trade Texas for anyone but...Texas did fuck up our conference bc losing Nebraska was a big blow to the conference and OU rivalry
Had to come back to watch this after this years lost
I wish I went to OU!
For a game in 2012, held up perfectly I really enjoyed this what a f***in game.
Best sporting event in the south central.
As always, God Bless You, Hola Kyle!
It's great to have Mike back.
@@muffin7483 talk about aged like fine wine lol
Last year in 2012 against Texas, and 2011, and also 2010. That's considered a big game to OU & Texas! You would know if you would think more.
I like this game

Dislike
i noticed there wasnt a 4th qt glad u reposted
The "Hammered Ash" quote that defined the day.
that's why we love mack. we (OU) could trade players with them and we'd still beat em.
People that switch to Geico sure are happy. How happy, Ronny? Happier than a Sooner at the Cotton Bowl. BOOMER!!
I finally went to the RRR this year. What a freaking game to go to, WTMF!!! texass got their ass whooped!!! What a blast, man! Boomer Sooner!
This is how we need the defense to play in 2020 season
Drew Allens face when they dumped ice on stoops was great.
An ass kicking of epic proportions.........
great game. Great Rivalry. We got the Gold hat! Hook'em!
I love seeing the look on the faces of the people wearing burnt orange... BOOOOOOOMMMEEERRRRR
BOOMERRRRRR SUCKERRRREE
I love to see the faces of people wearing red on the 2018 game
15:32 The look on mack browns face was the best part of the game....
congrats Steelers, you got a solid QB in Jones regardless of the pundits. They said he was a first rounder last year and all he did was have a better season this year and suddenly he sucks. Not even lying Texas only had 3 highlights. When they "blocked" the kick and scored the two touchdowns. Nothing else.
3:12 nice run wow
LMFAO that girl on the left is like FUCK!! 11:17
the best highlights ever!!!
OU defense needs to be on their game and we will be awesome!
Over the past THREE years that A&M has played Oklahoma. A&M has won...TWICE.
Some Big 12 treams do play defense. OU and Kansas State play great defense. It's just that agianst Notre Dame, OU failed to move the ball and make stops when they needed them. Remember that OU's defense, statisticly, is far better than it was last year.
Texas should play this video before every practice.
For motivation
i think you meant gabe ikard. didnt' see drew in the picture.
you are seeing a clinic on conditioning coaches Bennie Wyllie for Texas and jerry Schmidt for ou! i am so glad Schmidt is back at ou!!!! Bennie can take his CrossFit stuff and go!
I would love to see texas a&m (my team) vs oregon. It would be a good game
Also, had A&M still been in the Big 12, Mike Sherman would have never been fired...and Johnny Manziel would have been the backup to Jameill Showers.
Did you see the score?
Did you not see the score of the game.
I'm a Florida fan, so I know about intense rivalries but I wanna know, what's this rivalry like on a day to day basis?
I live in Texas as a huge ou fan. It’s super easy to be friends outside the sport but when it comes to that week or football talk at all for that matter it brings out the worst hahaha
Texas highlights? Guess they didn't get any video of the shorter lines for fried food and restrooms in the 2nd quarter to include.
Shout out to the Texass fans that hung until the end of that game. That was probably pretty torturous. 😂😆😁
What's even better is that was Colt's little brother...LOL
Maaaaaaaaan. I picked a hell of a first RRR game to go to! Boomer Sooner!
what about Vince Young and Adrian Peterson?
15:56 is a prime example of how one-sided this game is
kore5747, might want to check your stats man, three other OU qb's have beaten Texas three years in a row, and one of them held the record for most wins that Jones beat that game. I forgot their names, but they were talking about it during the game. And yes, I am an OU fan, but I hate it when people spout off stuff like they know what they are talking about.
At 5:41, the line judge runs a Texas player over on the sideline.
If only Bob Stoops could motivate his team for every game, not just "big" ones and "rivalries."
OU's team is pretty young also. It's a good thing Stoops pulled most of the D starters and some of the O linemen and some of the backs got to rest the second half or it would have been worse and that's not sportsmanship
oh im glad you gave me the scores of all the games Oklahoma won over Texas ahaha
anyone else see the awesome tackle from ref at 5:41? Sooners weren't the only ones doing the hurtin
CRUSH THEM AGAIN TODAY SOONERS !!!
48-45 bitch hook em
nice spin move at 9:30
This was a good win by OU but don't forget that this is the youngest team in America there are going to be some growing pains. regardless congrats on the win OU.
But as always HOOK'EM!!!
Remember that Kansas state beat OU 24-19
Oklahoma is boss.
11:18 pretty much sums up Texas's day.
Bet you weren't too happy during the Cotton Bowl were ya...Johnny Football ended that streak with ease. :P
LOL thats girl on the left was LIKe FUCK!! 11:17
Really hope Lincoln brings this same fire to Dallas every year. Red Raiders like watching UT agony just as much as Sooners.
blake bell kicked our ass this game
63-14, 65-13, 55-17, 63-21.
"durrrr where are the Texas highlights I can't read video titles herp derp"
Oklahoma chokes less than Texas does. I think this game is pretty good proof of that.
Probably pretty badly. But to be fair, no one was able to stop Manzel, not even the mighty Bama. Now here's another question, if Texas A&M had been in the big12 still , who would have really stopped them from winning a national title?
Guys I think I know why he did not put any Texas highlights in, Because they didn't have any! Hahahahahah!!!! BOOOMER SOONER BABY!!
Texas has one more Texas vs Chokelahoma games
You sound like one of them Delta Upsilon fellas
Wow
Lol! I'm not gonna talk trash to you, but I am laughing at that comment lol
Mccoy was awesome
11:18 says it all
Ouch.
11:18 😂😂😂😂😂😂 eat it
Make that 3-1. I think Johnny Manziel just scored again.
3:29...that camera guy was spying on her the entire time...cant say i blame him
i think its kenny vaccaro who he knocks down/out
to get Landry Jones' confidence back up in the endzone considering the belldozer stole that from him? hey lets not forget with 5 seconds left texas called a time out to squeak in another score.
11:17 priceless
