Who else here is a lefty like me but can't wear watches on right wrist because they got too used to wearing right-hander watches?
Thank you for your video. I can’t wait for mine. What are your thoughts on the green dial OP please
There is no shortage!
Wearing my Tudor BB GMT on a jubilee as well and I’m happy. Won’t pay 3x’s retail for this badboy, but at retail, I’ll pick one up since I’m also a lefty
Same here. I’m on the waitlist for this to buy when I get married in 2 years. If I don’t get it in time I’m buying a omega speed master.
Geesh, Tim gets watches before they hit retail.
I’m waiting for mine. Thank you for the video. Your thoughts on the green op please?
did you get them?
Hi,Tim! Please can You made video of Breguet Tradition retrograde date …?
I also want to see video of Breguet Marine Hora Mundi ,the best worldtimer ever…
You probbly have apurtunuty to have in your hands Breguet marine alarme musicale and Breguet Tradition retrograde date ,can You tell me which timepices is bether to chose by your opinion..
This is a purist piece. And it’s amazing
Flipped already. Imagine my surprise!
4x the retail price
@@michele_ Thank god I got mine at retail. And I will certainly not flip it!
@@RalphGassmann thanks for that!
my rolex ad had an op 34 and steel datejust for sale this weekend. It was awesome to see!
Yes steel DJ are becoming readily available depending on where you are.. they’re the only Rolex you’re guaranteed to get with minimum waiting time.
@@omarion07 and yet gray market dealers are still listing them 1000s above retail.
does this jubilee bracelet become loose as it ages, like after used for years?
No
As a right hander that wears their watch on their right - I’d like this…. can’t swing retail x 2 (and more).
Shame it has been flipped so soon after release.
I'm a right hander/right wearer too! I love left handed watches!
Hi Tim, what are you asking for this GMT-Master II "Destro"?
he literally repeats the same line twice in the beginning of EVERY VIDEO and you ask him here for the price :')
Three times the retail, I guess. If you‘re not in a hurry or are a millionaire, I‘d suggest to wait. The retail market it cracking down right now.
@@valeriodellacasa5360 Oh really! Are you sure it's not thrice? What a petty person you are. Sorry for the anxiety it caused you.
@@izaazkhalili If you were serious you would contact Tim and not ask in the comments like a moron.
@@rogerstrough3586 Wow! What a hostile and angry character. Didn't you get enough love from your Mom & Dad, growing up. Was it poor upbringing that brings out the ill mannered and uncivilised behaviour in you or is it just defective DNA.
I think that's the one Bear flipped!
Top class
Was at my AD on Friday and they had the lefty GMT on display - it was next to a Rootbeer which completely kicked its ass and is a much better looking GMT.
less worse rather.. choose adjectives carefully when giving an opinion
@@doperdr No, think I’m happy with the wording I used as it makes sense - unlike what you have suggested. Regards.
To each their own my friend
I don't even want to know what unreasonable price someone is willing to pay for this. I used to love Rolex, now I just see them as instigators of the worst behavior in people.
Agreed. Also more likely to get robbed because of these sky high second hand prices

This shows the horrible market of Rolex. The official retailer of Rolex is no longer the AD, but grey market with 2-3x MRP
I wonder who flipped this Flanders?
Simpsons reff !!! NICE!!!
Nice, just can't get my head around a Rolex GMT in destro format. Looks totally upside down. Is this how left handed people see the world? 🙂
Price Please?

Other than brand name, what is the difference between this Rolex and the Steinhart that looks pretty much the same?
Still think it should be called the TMG
This watch makes me feel uncomfortable.. really, i get drunk from just looking at it - plus, it (imho) represents everything what's currently wrong with the watch world.
F this watch
This piece looks and feels much better on the oyster bracelet, and it was not made as a left handed watch it's right or left handed wearers.
My neighbor was able to snag one for a week as his brother and his wife have connections to Rolex. No, he didn’t buy it, just borrowed it. He eventually gave it back and said the watch wasn’t worth the money or wait.
I think just Ronaldo or Angelina can buy this gmt at the real price
Well I did from my AD and I'm not Ronaldo nor am I Angelina.
@@RalphGassmann probably you’re Bond James Bond👍
@@reguetondecubabeats136 I’d LOVE that. Just realised my profile picture doesn’t help to make my case! 😂
Luckily I have several steel Rolex sports model already before the madness started… After I knew how shady those AD now, it really turned me off and never wanna look at Rolex again 🤮, what a disgusting practice.
Rolex, look at this, your for flippers only watch making as always.
Rolex makes its own steel?
I doubt that. A steelmaking machine probably makes more steel in a day than Rolex would use in a year. A high-end specialty steel mill that makes 904L steel for industry could supply it to Roex a lot more efficiently than Rolex could do it, itself. From the discussion on Rolex's website, Rolex seems to imply that it buys 904L steel, but treats it in some way to turn it into what Rolex calls Oystersteel.
There’s already proof of their mining of all the ores necessary to create steel. You do not understand any of how Rolex operates. They are so secret very few people have EVER seen their operations so unless your information is from there it is false. They are more impressive than most people understand
Erm yes, they do. Fact. Just because there are no pictures of it on the internet doesn't mean that they are not doing it. Even their own employees inside their main manufacturing buildings have very restricted access to only their areas. They are highly secretive.
@@RalphGassmann
So you have no evidence that Rolex is manufacturing steel. You seem to believe that your lack of evidence constitutes proof that they are, but that is not how logic works.
@@highnrising Yes, apart from the fact that it is common knowledge (and not unlikely at all given the fact that Rolex has incredible financial abilities and has built up supply chains for everything for decades being one if the most powerful luxury brands in the world) I also - being Swiss myself - know someone personally who is involved in this process and works there. And no, I really don’t have the time nor do I feel the need to provide evidence to you. If you claim that Rolex lies than it is up to you to provide evidence that they are lying. Mind you, everybody can have an oppinion.
@@RalphGassmann But that's my whole point. I haven't said that Rolex lies. Fact is, Rolex does not claim to manufacture steel.
What is says on its website under "Materials" is:
"Precious metals, stainless steel, ceramic, mother-of-pearl, precious stones... Because the choice of materials is an essential link in the long chain of processes in manufacturing an exceptional product, Rolex rigorously selects the materials for its watches. Each bridge of the movement, each wheel, each pinion, each element of the case, bracelet or dial is made of a material that has been meticulously selected and constantly re-evaluated to guarantee its performance and its impeccable aesthetics."
And:
"OYSTERSTEEL
A Rolex watch must work perfectly and maintain its beauty even in the harshest environments. That is why Rolex uses Oystersteel, a steel alloy specific to the brand. Oystersteel belongs to the 904L steel family, which is particularly resistant to corrosion and acquires an exceptional sheen when polished.
904L steels are commonly used in high-technology and in the aerospace and chemical industries. Their excellent anti-corrosion properties are comparable to those of precious metals."
What they seem to be saying is they buy 904L steel and that Rolex (or maybe the supplier) treats it in some manner to make it "Oystersteel." Which is what I wrote in my initial comment and you chose to argue with.
That is so ugly.
