I've gone to Black Friday says every year and have never seen this type of behavior before! Everyone is always helping others find what they're looking for and suggesting things that they themselves like. It's always calm and orderly. This includes the the various electronics.

Thing is that you can buy the exact same things online, shipped to your door for the exact same "special" price any day or sometimes even cheaper.

I work at a Target in California. Surprisingly it was actually very calm, only 100 people allowed in the store at a time, 1 TV purchase per customer, no running or your out, no yelling or your out. Act like animals, get treated like animals
Not at ours, we were trying to find a replacement smart phone cause we actually needed one around Black Friday and my mom just aborted it entirely. Just because people were so ding rude to us and disregarding everything including my blind cane.

Surely the stores have capacity limits, as you know health and safety and fire hazard concerns. Wouldn’t it be easier to just put tickets online that you can order so when the day comes only those with a ticket can get in and shop. And each ticket has session times so they don’t all come at once.

Plus, do the shops actually make a profit? It seems like marking down prices + property damage + hiring extra staff + workplace injuries + spoilage/product damage... overall actually HARMS these retailers more than anything else
