I actually picked up a 197 cup in white towards the back end of last year.
I struggle with modern cars really coming from a mk2 golf gti background, I knew these cars were good, although I havent used my clio that much your video has helped me alot with the choice I have made. At the time of purchase i was considering mk5 golf GTI's and all sorts, but I think the clio is a good choice! 👍 maybe one day I could afford the meg!

Meg is a great car but the Clio does so much for so little money. I honestly stand by my statement that the clio is one of the best value for money cars available ... and in many ways it's performance is so much more accessible across a wider variety of roads. A drive to the shops can be made be exciting in a Clio.

Strangely enough I bought a 182 recently and I'm having ANOTHER 197 delivered on Saturday. I'll need to do a video haha

Just bought a ‘10 RS Meg 250 Cup to join my 05’ RS Clio 182 FF. Both drive very different, but both offer fantastic fun for your money but in very different ways 👍🏻

Great guide for anyone looking into them. The fuel and gearbox issues are the two letdowns of the clip for sure. But if the box is fine, they're a wicked little angry car.
I have a mildly tuned liquid yellow 200 and a mk3 meg running 400bhp.

Thanks for the kind words and haha at the love of French crap lol .. me too ... be careful with that 200 as in LY I'm always likely to be making a bid for it lol. The gearbox issue is a problem but not mega expensive to repair, just something to look out for. The advantage with these is that most things can be fixed relatively cheaply and bang for buck they are hard to beat as a B road weapon.
@@AllTorque 100% clio is on 96k, zpo shifter, ktec exhaust n a map from rstuning to get the flat spot wobble sorted, drives wicked.

Had a focus st 2.5 litre, sold it, bought a type r ep3, ragged it for 5 years, sold it, bought a bmw m140i, got nicked, now in the market for a megane rs250. Any tips for someone looking for one of these?
The market is rising quickly on the Megs. People are realising what a good car they are. High mileage cars are available from around for £5500 up. Check the usual Renault issues. Joints, gearbox, belts, seat wear etc
