Do they really last in the heat? I'm from south texas and temps get to about 110-115.

I honestly love everything about these on everything you make them for until I see the spot for the airbag. I wish something else could be done there because it would look amazing if it was all smooth with no separate piece.
Because the color is spray painted on do you have touch up paint in case it scratches?

Does the car in the video have light gray leather interior? I have a 2007 black XLE with light gray leather and the dash looks exactly like the video (I think). Just want to be sure I get the correct great color.
Actually the report is that this car had a biege or light brown interior.

What do I do when the middle of the cover won't stay flat even with silicone added twice?

I wanted to attach a Carpuride CarPlay system with a suction cup bracket. Will this dash cover work with this? Will the suction cup damage the dash cover or cause it to warp?

How does the air bag cover NOT become a projectile in a crash?
The airbag cover does not have to be installed. It's completely optional to use or not. In the test we have performed, the cover deployed back toward the windshield.
Most people dont have bag weights? What do you recommend as an alternative ?
Many people use phone books but really anything with some weight to it that won't damage the dash cover.
Ok but how does this really work.The original dash pad in my grand am is cracked then all edges rolled up 4 inches seperated from the under dash pad frame.How will this push that down and attach that to the original underpad then stay fit ontop of the 4 inch lip lifts?
In extreme cases like this you would have to sand down or in some cases - with some materials - customers can cut it down to make it level. 4" lifts is really high, so I'm not sure you can prep that enough for a Coverlay® cover to install over it. Years later, the rectangular piece will be annoying as it lifts from the contraction and expansion caused by heat.
Actually we have not had any complaints on this. During the install process, you are directed to add the silicone adhesive to the airbag cover around the edges and then secure it with tape and weighted objects while the silicone adhesive cures.
Is this silicone adhesive going to hold this on permanently or is this thing gonna come loose after a couple years and squeak and rattle?

Why is there a cutout in the area over the glovebox?
This area is cut out for the airbag

@@puffyshirt681 No need to scrape it. If it can be cleaned with a sturdy cloth that won't leave a lot of lint behind, you can use that with an Ammonia based cleaner like Windex. FMI please contact our Customer Service at 800-633-7090.

The front middle peace towards the windshield is left unprotected-
Your product is well made,expensive & it should cover the dashboard on its entirety. There are cheaper ones that cover everything but are not as precisely engineered. This product should go back to the drawing board respectfully.

As a chemical engineer - never, never, ever...put ammonia near where you are breathing. Not even the weak consumer ammonia like this. A degreasing detergent or isopropyl alcohol works fine.
Yes we recommend following the guidelines listed on the Windex solution other consumer based cleaners.
I dont recommend this installation at all .....Its better to buy an overlay ( without glue ) putting on it .. Rather its better to keep it the way it is ..
Some customers do buy our overlay and install without using the silicone glue - they think it looks better than a carpet cover - and better than their damaged stick original dash. However if you don't install with the silicone glue, it might eventually curl up on the ends depending on the climate your in. FMI please contact us at 800-633-7090.
