I love how they put all four of Yuma's signature main deck archetypes and combined them into a single archetypal umbrella: Onomat.
It is even confirmed they all live within the same world as shown in Onomatopia and are also apart of the Lightsworn lore as shown in Gagagarush.
So that means Dark World is connected cus of Raiko showing up in some card art

Also, kagemusha literally translates to "shadow warrior" but it essentially means a political decoy.
Blue flame is one possible English translation of Shien.
As such, Kagemusha of the Six Samurai is supposed to be a decoy of Shien (or Shi En; the spelling varies), evident by its effect to become the target of an opponent's effect instead of a different Six Samurai you control.
Also, there is an xyz monster called Shadow of the Six Samurai, which is just Kagemusha wearing a red armor similar to what Shien/Shi En wears, further continuing the motif of him being a decoy.
Also Shogun Shien was previously Tenkabyto Shien

Seiaryu's original name is Holy Night Dragon. Serpent Night Dragon is its counterpart and I'm still waiting on a proper archetype for it.

My favorite is the Voiiceless Voice because I made a custom Pendulum Monster of Novox 3 weeks before the announcement of the archetype and that ONE CARD was effectively the entire archetype's playstyle in a single searchable package and made generic for LIGHT Monsters

Everything relating to Dark Blade is honestly super sick. I really want a Dark Blade archetype, but that's probably not gonna happen due to Memento kinda taking up the Dark Blade name, which would cause some pretty odd overlap between archetypes (although I guess it could be pretty cool)

Kagemusha is also become Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien (the XYZ). He is literally the guy who fought Shien in the Evenly Match.

I love skull guardian because the archtipe got somewhat teased years before with sauravis ritual spell "sprite's blessing",where we can see lo(prior called novox) praying in the same chapel as in Saffiras spell

You forgot that Fortress had a retrain just last week announced, Mega-Fort Whale, and that it has like, 3 different similar looking cards that are all Orca or Killer Whale based that look almost the same. Its probably had the most unofficial and official retrains since the original was a Super that never had a reprint for like 14 years and is considered the rarest card in the orignal TCG packs.

The voiceless series is looking quite power. Skull guardian being an Omni negate with lo on the field is nice but his redesign is sweet

Ninjas. Whole archetype brought out of uselessness with one structure deck, Hanzo is pretty old. The retrain i guess would be strike ninja into black ninja and honorable mention to Blue Armor Ninja
One of my favorite designs has always been “Aqua Madoor”, he’s gotten a couple retrains.
I'm surprised that Diabound doesn't have dedicated archetype support and is only represented in the OCG/TCG by a single card, "Diabound Kernel".
Am I the only one who wants retrains of the 4 original Elemental HERO monsters? I really wanna use them in my HERO list and I think a retrain of em would be pretty sick
Maybe I’m alone on this, but I actually like the vanilla cards. I like the tiny snippets of lore that could be awesome or funny or scary. Now most cards are just walls of rule text that make my eyes glaze over.
I don't know why, but I would love to see Konami make a retrained version of the Witty Phantom, as well as make an entire Archetype involving that card.
I still wonder what happened to mizuho during the duel between kagemusha and shien, it would be sad if she gets killed in front of her son.

All of these are cool and all, and I'm especially happy Skull Guardian got an archetype of its own, but what about Metalmorph? It easily could be made into one, considering the existence of REBMD and Metalzoa. My first, instant thought toward this is a LINK-1 that takes a monster equipped with Metalmorph as material.

I would love to see battle ox with a modern retrain since we got beast-warrior monsters mentions in Tri-Brigade effects (even though it will just be a Tri-Brigade focus with battle ox support).

@@vman9347 there’s three. Celtic Guardian, Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, and the retrain specifically made for the Dark Side of Dimensions movie Celtic Guard of Noble Arms (yeah it’s part of the noble knight/noble arms series for some reason, there’s no synergy with it and the rest of the archetype).
You forgot the Mega Fortress Whale and Ocean Dragon Lord Kairyushin. Then again, I am biased because I play Umi Control

That monster does not serve zero purpose. It's so good in hieratic dragon decks. Or at least in mine, and mines pretty good.
Yeah but 90% of the time they add these cards too late when there are a million better cards that do the same but better & more consistent
