- Crispy and crunchy Homemade Baked Tortilla Chips are made from corn tortillas, a bit of oil, and a squeeze of lime juice. This easy, gluten-free, and vegan chip recipe is made healthy by baking them in the oven instead of deep frying!
RECIPE: www.evolvingtable.com/baked-t...
INGREDIENTS
12 corn tortillas, 5 to 6-inch, yellow or white
1 Tbsp. oil olive, vegetable or avocado
1 tsp. lime juice, optional
½ tsp. salt, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Whisk together oil, lime juice and salt in a small bowl.
Brush oil mixture over both sides of each tortilla using a pastry brush.
Cut each corn tortilla into 4 or 6 triangles using a knife or pizza cutter.
Place tortilla triangles in a single layer on two large baking sheets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes if using a light baking sheet or 8-11 minutes if using a dark baking sheet.
You’ll know the tortilla chips are done baking when they are crisp and golden.

You are the first youtube chef I can remember actively warning your viewers about the cooking time differences between light & dark baking sheets. Thank you!
You're so welcome! It definitely makes a difference with these chips!
Who else is watching this because they have a big bag of ancient tortillas in the back of their fridge?
....I would recommend a light sprinkling of Kosher salt, or Sea Salt, before baking.... gives just the right amount of flavor to the chips.
Thank you! This was exactly what I was looking for! I'm not trying to start out with masa and a press!
I love this recipe! I use Gluten Free yellow corn tortillas w/a little sea salt. I like using the oven during the cold weather.
This is easy! I'm going to do it! Thanks for the recipe 😁👍
Love this recipe. Very easy to follow. I use Avocado oil and sometimes use kosher salt. Put my oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit . Do you have some light boneless chicken recipes by chance?
I’m so happy to learn this!!!
Mine turned out PERFECTLY…
Thank you for your video…

Lightly oil corn tortillas, add some lime juice for flavor
Sprinkle with salt
Bake 7-8min
7-8 minutes is not enough time for my oven and baking sheet I need 12 minutes. Otherwise, chips will not be crunchy.
Thank you!
0:14 this was really cool, hahhaha, thanks for the video!
Thanks for the easy recipe.
You're so welcome!!

I really like how straightforward this was. No clickbait title, and you covered everything. Your production quality was fabulous and your energy cheered me up, thanks for the info :D
You're so welcome! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video. Thanks for your comment - it truly brightened my day :)
Can I use butter instead of oil ?
loved this
Ok so where did the sea salt sprinkles come from?
👍 thanks

Liked and subscribed because (1) I was needing to make tortilla chips from store-bought tortillas and (2) you are absolutely adorable.
Looks delish!
Thanks so much! Hope you enjoy the recipe :)
I love the aesthetics of your video. I recently made a video and put sea salt black pepper and garlic seasoning on them. I also used corn and flour tortilla and tried them in the Air Fryer in addition to oven.
How did they turn out in the air fryer?
@@rachelhunter2034 They turned out crispy as well! I couldn’t believe it. The oven chips were slightly more crispier than the air fried but unless you ate them one after the other you wouldn’t be able to tell.
Como?
Yes, the 5 Inch tortillas are actually very common...
HOME MADE CHIPS AND HOMEMADE QUESO !!!!
unfortunately asean country dont sell instant tortilla bread
Sprinkle a little msg on them. Ur welcome
I only have corn oil 😩
Can I eat them with no teeth I can eat Doritos fine pls help me out??? Thank you

If you have ready-made tortilla chips, you should not call it a recipe
Its a chip hack
Who cares? It was what I was looking for!
add some cheese and some grilled chopped carne asada after they are baked then stick it back in the oven to melt then add onions and tomatoes and cilantro to make real nachos..not some bowl of melted cheese bullhonkey...
I wouldn’t really call this homemade. I mean if you wanna cheat and do it quickly than I guess this would work
The title is Easy Baked Corn Tortilla Chips (Only 3 Ingredients!) not homemade. I have a bag of store bought corn tortillas I needed to use and this method was perfect.
Wrong using vegetable oil
Not if I see you first.
Get to the point! This could have been a 30 second video.
Then go to another channel. If you're limited to 30 seconds, I'm sure they'll tell you to go to the store and get store bought chips. Besides CZcams doesn't pay crap for 30 second videos.
I said the exact same thing! I said, “ sheesh, get on with it lady”
She repeats herself like 4 times.....
Thomas: Those chips ain't gonna make themselves. Get!!!
😂
Based on the same logic, I can bake chips from 1 ingredient: Buy chips and heat them up in the oven. I was hoping to see how to make them from scratch, using corn flour, but this video is misleading.
No sakt!
4 minute video for tortilla chips. Nah...forget it.
you're not willing to watch only 4 minutes for this??? lmao im sure there are longer videos on this topic

Good video but takes too long to get to the point.
Which part of "homemade" includes purchasing a product that is full of chemicals?
The title says “homemade tortilla CHIPS” not homemade corn tortillas Karen.
Easy Baked Corn Tortilla Chips (Only 3 Ingredients!) is the title. Where in the world did you get "homemade" from?
home made means you make it at home . Here you buy the tortillas in the supermarket 😮it's a joke ?
I dont know about using store bought tortillas for making tortilla chips.... I think it would have been easier to just buy a bag of store tortilla chips...
The store tortillas and and tortilla chips are full of garbage ingredients, preservatives.
I would just follow a homemade tortilla recipe, then after making the homemade tortillas , then use those tortillas to make tortilla chips from scratch.
Doing the store tortillas to make tortilla chips is completely backwards to me. I think its a better bang for your health and $$ just making homemade tortillas and then tortilla chips.
Too long to get to the point!
This is not homemade
thanks, but no thanks. HOMEMADE, not store bought....that's what the description says, doesn't it? I cant and don't want to use ready made stuff because they put all kinds of stuff in it to preserve them.
Easy Baked Corn Tortilla Chips (Only 3 Ingredients!) is the title. No where does she claim to these are homemade.
Way , Way to much Jibber Jabber
I thought this video was about HOMEMADE VEGAN TORTILLA CHIPS. This is misleading.
🤦🏽♀️
What gave you any idea that these were supposed to be vegan?
@@surf101- exactly clearly she didn't read. Nothing was misleading 😂🤣
Not a fan of people who blame people for their own fault :(
Read the title...It said "Easy Baked Tortilla Chips" She did not say "Homemade". She is showing an economical way to beat the cost of store bought chips using fresh corn tortillas which is unbelievably economical. Do the math and you will thank her for this tip.
