Doritos have romano and Parmesan with the cheddar, so the second one has the right cheese mixture. They also have buttermilk powder for the acid which makes you salivate, which the fist one had. I think remove the Gouda from the second and add the buttermilk and that would have been it!

Movie popcorn has only 3 different things in the process. They use flavored and colored coconut oil for obvious reasons. They also put a dust solution which is called flavocol (search it up in amazon). It is something like dried butter flavoring with salt etc. Finally, they add a butter oil for a finishing touch and better overall flavour.

I am not really sure if there is going to be a come back, and if there is it is going to be very different. It is really sad and I was really getting into the BA videos. A lot of the editors have quit doing the videos or are "suspended."

Sooooo, Papa, your cheese powders don't taste quite like the Dorito Nacho cheese powder cuz you missed a couple of ingredients. Keep the cheddar powder. Then add romano powder, whey powder, buttermilk powder, MSG, onion powder, a bit of tomato powder, a pinch or two of superfine sugar, garlic powder, citric acid, bell pepper powder and corn flour. Salt too of course.
Thanks to Covid I've spent way WAY too many hours whipping up powdered toppings for popcorn. Amazon loves me and my snack cupboard is full of things I never knew could or should be turned into powders.

You should really try! Some of what he makes are pretty involved, but he's got a lot of really easy to make stuff on this channel. Any of the pasta is good to start with.

No wonder it didn’t match the Doritos flavour! Seriously though, leave out the msg and he’s made a marginally healthier, although way more labour intensive snack product. You will have pre-worked off the chips before you eat them. That said, will I ever spend a day and a half to make my own nacho cheese chips when I can order some and have them brought to my house in a ready to be instantly consumed version....no. I will probably never do that. Cool video though!

5:00 as a dutch person I think that what you did right there is impressive cuz you pronounced it correctly even though most people dont get past the first letter
Here's how the local factory i work at does it. The cheese flavorings are mixed into the base mix first and then chips are formed and fried. A final tumbling of cheese flavor is applied again. The cheese has additional corn protein added into the chip so bubbles can form during the cooking stage. That's why the actual Doritos product look the way they do. It's essentially an orange colored fried chip.

I'm pretty sure Doritos have tomato powder on them. I just made a batch of chips with tomato powder, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, paprika, chili powder, oregano & ground cumin, & it tastes pretty darn close. Probably just need some of that cheese powder, & I'd be set 👌. I had dehydrated tomatoes on hand, so I ground them up in my coffee grinder (I seldom use it for actually grinding coffee, so it was actually clean), then added the other spices & ground them together for a bit to mix.
I would do Jersey Mike’s Subs next, or maybe Five Guys.

The whole Apollo program is almost entirely made by german scientists (Saturn V designed by Wernher von Braun's team, only a few non german engineers and scientist were involved in it). And they worked in metric. Even the Apollo guidance computer used metric mesurements in every sensor. Only after all f the computations made the system converted all data to imperial, because the american astronauts was seemingly unable to learn the metric system.
The initial lead of the soviet rocket program was the result of the much less security considerations.
