I personally love the idea of them getting together. I don’t think it should be made canon, cos I like the canon story as it is, but I think it’s weird that the commenters here are so furious about it. The whole point of the channel is to explore alternative possibilities. If they develop romantic feelings and get together when they’re both adults I don’t think it’s unethical (not that it matters cos characters do unethical stuff in fiction all the time, but audiences only freak out if it’s a sexual / romantic thing).
But yeah, I just thought I’d let you know that not everyone hates this idea. The people that do are just super vocal.

I don't think they would make a good couple. They're far better as best friends. Which I think has so much more weight than if they were any romantic feelings between them. Mustafar is already an emotional enough duel. It doesn't need the romantic overtones of 'lovers quarrel'. Its heartbreaking as is. I've said it before; they're relationship is my favourite of all fiction. It's the teacher student, to best friends to brothers. Even Anakin's relationship with Padme doesn't feel very much like their friends. Their certainly friendly and yes, they love each other. But, Obi-Wan's and Anakin's relationship is stronger. But, they do spend more time together; so that would have something to do with it.
