  • Early 90s tv story (7:30 report ABC) about the bizarre water clock in Hornsby a northern suburb of Sydney. Designed by Victor Cusack who appears in the story. Locals will note this is before the Northgate and Westfield malls were merged into one monolith

      Ikr. This was some 25-26 years ago you can hardly recognise the place from this it’s changed dramatically. Although the “old side” isn’t that much different.

    it barely works and the cost of keeping it working has gone through the roof. Victor is no engineer, engineers build reliable things. Correction he declared himself an engineer, no actual qualifications or formal training. He's just an artist that should have asked for help in designing a costly structure.
