this video is not 7 minutes long it's more like 2 minutes | great job dude
👍🤠
I dont know if i don't understand the perpose of a video, how would the engine start if the coils are not connected. Obvious spark plugs will get wet bcs there's no spark.
👍
Thank you sir. This video was very informative. I was have misfires on p0304, p0305, p0308. I only got a chance to change 1-4 but as I was changing I noticed all the spark plugs were wet. When I started the job I took out 1-3 but the 3rd coil fell apart. Even tail was in pieces. Things came up and I didn’t continue till a week later. I just thought maybe it rained and water got in but then 4 had some water too. I rolled up a napkin and stuffed it inside trying to soak up the water. Doubt I got it all but I installed the new plugs and new coils, checked obd2 and seen no codes. Still want to change 5-8 plugs and coils but should I also get ready to do head gasket?
Good comment!
Very informative step guide. Thankyou very much Sir for sharing your this video.
Thanks and welcome
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor ok.
Good day to you Peter, I just change my car head gasket after founding out that the head gasket is bad but the car plug is still getting wet.pls help
Same here… getting wet with gas
👍
Great explanation Peter!
Many thanks!👍😊
you are the best!! thanks for the advices.
Happy to help!
Why would an unplugged spark plug be anything but wet? How can it burn the fuel?
It should never be dripping. The spark plug ignites the fuel which evaporates. If you move your car only a short distance your cylinders can get flooded because the spark didn't burn the fuel like it's supposed to.
I litterly just cringed when I seen that.thank god he's not a paramedic or doctor because we would all be dead by now..
I got a Toyota 4afe(160i)..my number 4 plug was full of oil and uphill my car dont perform it loose power..what can it be?
Good Comment 👍👍👍
Thank you my friend
Always welcome
I'm not being funny, but if that cylinder head gasket was from your engine its still perfectly fine to use.. ie you cannot see any blow-by gas/combustion getting passed the cylinder head gasket on either side so its still sealed perfectly
your radiator overflow doesn't have signs of oil mixing with coolant aka "milky sludge" I've skipped abit however I also didn't notice you checking the oil filler cap for similar "sludge"
I'm not being funny for older cars excess fuel in the combustion chamber leads to wet plugs ie the car requires tuning correctly to give a better air/fuel ratio!!
"only saying!"
Good comments ! 👍
Mine has been doing it intermittently....one guy thinks head gasket but no other signs of a leak. It will start fine for a few weeks then flood!! Compression even too!

Mr Finn we are excited for your next filming of the head gasket replacement on your Toyota.
How is the projecting coming along?
great videos sir..keep up.god bless
Thanks, you too!
My Ford Figo misfire and when I checked the spark plugs they had water and again when I change gears my car doesn't have power and the engine light is on
My grandfather said he needs to check the gas cylinder
What did your GF say that issue was?
Thanks for sharing 👍
what is the possible cause of spark plugs flooded by gasoline all of them and engine won't start, sometimes engine runs but after few seconds engine stalls..my engine is toyota 2TR
I would say blocked injector
possibly if there was leak between coolant and piston or oil...then when you ptu in coolant it will go milky looking
Thanks, Good info. 👍😃

If engine was running and white smoke was coming out if exhaust is an indicator water is getting into cylinders
Thanks for your comment👍😀
My water pump broke and I had it replaced along with timing belt, fan clutch, thermostat, radiator, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and replaced battery. At first car started and there was water in the oil, so the mechanic working on my car put blue devil to fix temporarily and changed the oil, next morning car won't start. Mechanic thinks it might be the anti-theft system was triggered when battery died and I entered the car from passenger side and leaned over to attemp a battery jump. No codes show, I'm stumped.any suggestions
Thanks for comment. 👍😀
I have a golf chico and my spark plugs is wet with fuel and oil what's going on help 🙏
Ok, maybe cylinder head gasket bad
Thanks it so much answer my question 👍
Any time👍
I have same issue for my toyota yaris 2012 and the mechanic told me to replace the whole engine. Please advice

Hi
The 2nd and 3rd spark plugs are wet or oily. What do you think is the problem?
Noted 😀👍
Hello my car is moving slowly when i start to drive after 5 minutes it’s normally moving what is the problem
Thanks for comment and noted 👍😀
When I tried to change my spark plugs in toyota corolla verso 07I found out that there are lots water are in the 2 center hole where spark plugs is. Meanwhile water in my radiator goes down frequently. What is the way forward please.
Thanks for info 👍😀
I took mine out and it looked like they had been dipped in old engine oil.
not good man that mena oil is getting where oil shouldnt be
Thanks for comment. 👍😀
My 2.9L V6 is running so rich all my plugs are soaked in gas and it backfires. It runs but very rich and I don't know why. The vehicle is a 1987 Bronco 2
Hi.
You have to change new pistons and piston rings. 👍👍👍👌
Hello. Do you know what is the engine maximum temperature before the head gasket fail? Thank you.
Hi, estimate 150 Celcius
If you're oil looks like a cappuccino and under your valve cap is like a Milky shake it got too hot 🔥
Hey my antifreeze hose blew off while driving and now my car won't start, I can clearly see that some of the antifreeze sprayed into the spark plug reservoirs.. would this be the reason why the car won't start now? It turns over just fine , just never kicks on
Happen to me did u fix it?

Hi Peter, engine is flooded with fuel as per the mechanic but he said to keep the spark plugs out so fuel can evaporate, but it still won’t spark, any other way to clear the fuel out..cheere
I have read your post. Thank you for the message. 👍😀

I did dry test and the results are
105 110 110 110 psi
Then did wet test and i got
120 125 125 125 psi
Is it piston rings or valve seals?
vehicle has low power specially up hills , 2007 chevy aveo 120k miles
timing belt had been double checked and everything is perfect on marks, also i replaced catalytic converter whith another empty one but it didn't make any difference?
Ok. Looks OK
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor are the compression test results normal?
What causes power loss??
@@mohammadaburabee4980 doesn't look bad to me, it's impossible to tell where the compression could get lost but the most essential result is seeing them within 5% of each other👍👍
An engine won't have worn out rings at only 120,000km.
Your loss of power is probably electrical or fuel
@@archygrey9093 120k miles then,, 215000 km now , also i have loss of compression
Lol, informative but have to say "my spar k plus g" is kinda fun ny
👍
😞😞😞😞 what are those spark plugs looking for
Thanks for Your info 👍😀
Can spark plugs go bad if it gets wet with fuel? I have accidentally flooded my engine and my car is trying to fire up. Yesterday it was running like it was on 5 or 6 cylinders. Now it was acting like it was running on 2 or 3 . I cleaned all 8 injectiors.
Side note. I have a duel exhaust and one side of my exhaust was hanging off from my cat converter . 4 o2 sensors and I believe the downstream wasnt reading properly because of the exhaust being disconnected.
No, if you use spark plugs like Denso and NGK
Did you get it running if so what was the problem?!
@@vookiecookie6629 turned out it was my ecu. Replaced the capacitors on it. Its a 92 Sc400
spark plugs can foul ouut from gas
Coolent passing through cylinder head gasket ??
Yes, correct
What might be the cause, the spark plug wires ends on the cylinder get wet everyday even I dry them, and when I turn on AC, the engine light on dashboard blinks and seems the AC automatically turns off.
Ok, what car you have?
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor Thanks for asking, I have fixed it. It is a ford fiesta 2018. It was because of rusty sanding pads, water was leaking into outer head of spark plug wires.
Sandy pads??
@@yusufit7627right what’s a sandy pad?
Hi I’m having a problem with my Ford ranger 2000 my sparkplugs are wet and smell like gasoline any advice ?
I have Ford Figo and I have that as well on my car
Having same issue on my 96 gmc 1500,
Anyone figure out what was the source of the issue? I changed my fuel pump, spark plugs, checked distributor cap and rotor, also removed the IAC valve and truck still won't fire up
Fuel injectors?
Hello, I have repaired them again, it does not work, there is a connection with electronics or something else
Thanks for comment, 😀👍
Hello sir .. the color of my car engine spark plugs change to black within 1 month . need coolant water in radiator every 2 day ..and also ignition coil out of order in a week .. so what is the issue in my car let me know please.
Maybe cylinder head gasket is bad and leaking.
Fantastic
Thank you! Cheers!

Wet with fuel or engine oil?
coolant
Welcome, can I install an electric petrol pump instead of a mechanical petrol pump. Because the car does not start even though I replaced a new mechanical pump, and there is no pumping of fuel. Please reply, explain, and thank you, Doctor.
Check the mechanical fuel pump if reaching properly in camshaft..just open the engine head cover and try to crank the engine and you will observe it's pumping...if not...remove the spacer or try to change fuel pump a little longer push lever
I'm sorry no disrespect but in my mind your a" vampire mechanic" lol

..they're wet cause you took the fire away....
Eish yes ne...

Wet with what ?
Hello. It's gas.
Mine are wet of oil and showing oil warning light
Thanks for info 👍
My plug no 1 still new but I drove 1200 kilos
Great Sir 😀
Idk if I should trust this video. Is that duct tape on the sparkplug puller?
It's so it doesn't disconnect in the tube silly goose.
@@grumpycat3436 ok hey do wat u gotta do to make it work.there is a simpler way though.and alot more affective and less messy.
Just wrap the extension end with a piece of paper and jam it in the connector.wont budge until you take it apart again.
sir if their was coolent in the engine getting on spark plugs they would be clean steamed clean thats gas
Yes too
Any chance you could add sub titles to your videos? Its hard to follow your accent. Thanks.

Damn the only reason why my sparkplugs are cover in gas is cause it pops like crazy when I downshift or while driving at a high rev
a car wont start if half youre cylinders are not sparking if its just 1 you should be able to run it

Wow he actually destroyed that brand-new gasket just to make a video.im sorry thumbs down alllll the way.yikes!man just yikes!
Cranking the engine without the spark plugs firing causes catalytic converter damage.
Ok and Thanks ! 👍😊
Uh no? The fuel will just shoot out of the spark plug holes.
