Some in the US want to pivot to China, others don’t want to leave the Middle East and cut back on spending on war spending.
@ ibrahimn.606
The Middle East is no longer strategically important to USA *** Whatever activity that is going on there with the US
is transitional in nature. India is becoming stronger and along with France and UK will, within a few years, be able
to take over for the US Navy in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea.
Egypt, KSA, Jordan, etc., are making peace with Israel. They are thinking about pipeline terminals, cooperation with
environmental issues and sustainability for the well-being of their citizens (e.g. -- Jordan is a very thirsty nation
without much access to the sea for desalination plants. Egypt has a huge population that it is not able to feed)
A trade bloc that employs Arabs, and cuts out China is also a possibility.
*** Since the shale fracking revolution, US has become a net exporter of oil. Most of the fracking for oil is being done
where there are already oil fields; it has brought new life to old, unproductive oil wells. KSA and the Gulf states
will use this technology, (eventually) At this time, there is no need since the oil in those areas is very close to the
surface)
Some in the US want to pivot to getting universal healthcare and public college like all the rest of the European Countries (that we pay to defend and subsidize their budget) give to their people.

The world hasn't seen this level of tension since the Cold War. We are currently locked in a nuclear race once again. Unfortunately I don't think we will be cutting back military spending anytime soon and I personally find it necessary that we don't.
That being said, we can still achieve universal healthcare. It's not like we don't already pay for it through insurance and ofc through medical bills. We really don't need to cut back on military spending to achieve those goals.

Territory wise, yes Isis is in a limited area, but also recall that recently a branch of Isis bombed Iran (which the US says they warned them about). Just because dont have much territory doesnt mean they arent active in a wider area. I think you are correct that trying to contain Iran is the largest factor, but to dismiss Isis just because their stronghold is limited is a bit naive. US troops withdrawal from Iraq and Syria would have benefited Iran, so it doesn’t make sense that Iran is behind this attack. Something else is at play here.
Yes it’s called disinformation. One it wasn’t Iran backed at all. 2 it didn’t happen in Jordan. 3. Why are we sticking around in Syria where congress did not approve of going in the first place. Lastly we been talking bomb Iran since the 1990s and now the dismantling of how we even train for long confrontations on the ground is lost. We gave most of our bombs to Israel to flatten Gaza with. Only the few we still have won’t last a month of day in and day out shooting with Iran and where is most of our land combat equipment at? Ukraine being shot up because they are beaten? What’s left? 📝 Summary of Key Points:
📌 Three US service members were killed in a drone attack on a military base near the Syria-Jordan border. The White House blames Iran-backed militant groups.
🧐 The presence of US troops in Syria and Iraq is controversial, with the US claiming they are there to fight ISIS, but analysts believe they are there to contain Iran.
🚀 Skirmishes between Iran-backed groups and US troops have increased, leading to calls for a US withdrawal from Iraq. However, the recent attack makes a withdrawal unlikely.
🚀 The attack was claimed by an Iran-backed militia called the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI), who stated it was retaliation for Biden's support of Israel.
🚀 The US has responded with airstrikes against IRI facilities in Iraq, and Biden has promised further response. Some US senators have called for strikes in Iran itself.
🚀 The situation is complicated by Israel's assault on Gaza and speculation of an Israeli invasion of Southern Lebanon.
📣 American escalation seems inevitable, highlighting the importance of being cautious online and protecting personal data.
💡 Additional Insights and Observations:
💬 "The US troops in the region are there to contain Iran and disrupt its support for proxy militias in Iraq."
📊 No specific data or statistics were mentioned in the video.
🌐 The video does not mention any specific references or sources.
📣 Concluding Remarks:
The video highlights the escalating tensions between the US and Iran-backed groups in the region, with the recent attack on US personnel making a withdrawal from Iraq unlikely. The situation is further complicated by ongoing conflicts involving Israel. The video emphasizes the importance of caution online and protecting personal data.

When the U.S. invaded Iraq, lots of people were saying that it was for the oil, which was probably partially true… but I always said it’s because Iraq is between Iran and Israel.
But mostly the oil because Saddam was going to sell it in Euro.
The Israeli lobby also had an influence for the invasion.
it was in israels interest too, to remove saddam
@@ggeronimo4412 as an Iraqi it was everybody’s interest to remove Saddam even us Iraqis but the US being the typical over confident Americans did it in the worst way possible the point it might have been intentional.
@ a_random_voice_in_the_void
Saddam had become a problem for all of his neighbors (attacks on Israel was just the icing on the cake; for Europe and
USA). *When Saddam lost the Iran-Iraq war; the clock began to tick for him.* His slaughter of the Kurds in northern Iraq,
his extermination of the Marsh Arabs and his invasion of Kuwait were the casus belli that his neighbors needed. (Not
that any of them cared about the Kurds, or Marsh Arabs, per se. Muslims killing Muslims is not something that the
Muslim authorities like to admit is happening. Sometimes they speak out; sometimes they do not do so.)
But Saddam's attacks on the Kurds was causing a huge humanitarian crisis in neighboring countries that could not be
ignored. Turkey was asking Germany to help them cope with the influx, Syria was talking to the Russian's about it
because Kurds moving into Syria (alongside the Kurdish minority that was already there; and who were second-class
citizens in the SAR ... Note the "Arab" part of Syria's name) and Jordan was talking to the US and UK about it (Kurds
were flying into Amman and couldn't get passports to other places) Saddam was destabilizing the entire area!

@6baenre165 it's a fact, though. The entertainment we consume always makes sense, otherwise it's seen as bad and or suspicious, so when something doesn't make sense in real life, we start to see it as bad or suspicious.
For example: if you saw a teenager walking around in a black hoodie and slouched over in the middle of summer, you'd immediately notice and think about how strange it is, you'd probably even start to become a bit suspicious and go out of your way to avoid that kid. The same thing is happening here. Not all the the facts are widely known or laid out, so you're becoming suspicious of a coincidence for no reason other than "it's hard to believe." If you have evidence that there's something more nefarious happening, then please, present it for us all to see.

Because both sides have an ambiguity of what the other side is planning in the future.
The attack was - allegedly - not pulled off by Iran. This is plausible. Moreover, some Jordanian officials say the attack took place in the illegal US Al-Tanf base on Syrian soil, where the US openly organizes proxy groups to attack the Syrian government.
"Mohannad Mubaydeen, spokesperson for the Jordanian government, said “the attack targeting US forces near the Syrian border did not take place within Jordan” but instead “targeted Al-Tanf base in Syria.”

Iraq has been supplying and building up proxy militias across the Middle East for years to destabilize it and assert greater influence perhaps even to overthrow a few governments. The US would prefer global trade and oil supplies aren't interrupted even though we supply our own oil. Iraq and Jordan specifically requested us troops to help counter Iranian insurgencies in their lands. Iran is in no state to fight a full on war or a proxy war but they also can't really control the militants they armed across the Middle East. The US could pull out but it increases the risk of these militias or some other jihadist group like isis coming into power again since tensions are so high and stability is so low. Of course staying may force us into some kind of conflict. Not a simple decision. Our presence also helps prevent all out war between nations like Iran Iraq Israel and Saudi Arabia as they would have to go through the US to do anything. That's why Iran has been building independent militias rather than attack the US directly. As long as we have bases these countries will not openly war against each other and generallry act more restrained.

Wow, so you are saying a full USA president (Trump ) was wrong.?
like raising your wack air defenses would do anything. U.S. has the scariest Military infrastructure on this planet.
3:47 that is incorrect. The intensity did not pick up since Israel's invasion of Gaza (27th of October) but rather after Hamas's attack on Israel (7th of October) - some examples of major attacks before the 27th of October are the attack on the Al-Tanf garrison, which injured over 20 service members (18th of October), drone attacks on the al-Omar and al-Shaddadi oil fields (24th of October) and a drone attack on the al-Asad airbase (18th of October).
Framing is extremely important, and you chose to frame the attacks on American troops as a result of an Israeli choice (the invasion of Gaza) despite it happening AFTER the uptick in attacks - rather then mentioning what started this current active conflict, a terrorist attack killing over a thousand Israelis.
Everyone is on Palestines side u israeli bot
u mean natives defending themself from colonisers
@@Copycat217It's a global world. Palestine needs more diversity, inclusion, and cultural enrichment. Don't be a xenophobic bigot. 😂
@@Copycat217 If you want to play that game; Arabs are also colonisers, the Arabian people are not native to the Levant region. Arabs as an ethno-linguistic group are in fact one of the most successful colonisers in human history, along with the Spanish, British/Anglophones, Russians, and Han. At what point does a coloniser become a native? If it's when you're born on the land, then most Israelis (>70%) are "natives" like the Arabs.
Hello 👋 , how are you doing today dear I’m Roy Bryant form Tampa Florida and I’m looking for a friend hope you don’t mind us knowing more about each other if that’s ok with you ?
In all honesty, anything that comes out of T-Rumps mouth should be taken with a grain of salt. The guy believes his own rhetoric and is entirely unhinged
Can someone help me understand? Is Jordan a US ally? If not, why do we have a facility in Jordan? I understand fighting ISIS, but is this with Jordan's permission?
That's the plan.
King and country mean evangelical yanks.
What's next? Send more money to Zelenskyy of course! He desperately needs a new yacht.
Let grandad potus retire and let his vp take over . The US and UK are becoming a joke , the US for its lack of resolve and the UK for its reduced forces , the UK government needs to invest in the armed forces not reduce it to the bare minimum
You think Kamala Harris would make the situation better??????
Whether Iran was involved in the attacks or not, regardless, Iran has to go. Iran funds and trains these anti-Israel groups, that also oppose the US and the western world. So technically Iran does have involvement in these attacks.
😂 you're advocating for terrorism
“This isn’t plausible because ISIS aren’t a threat anymore.”
Almost like there’re thousands of soldiers there to make sure of that 😂 what is your reasoning? It’s like the guy pointing at the border wall and saying “look, no migrants are here anyway! Why do we need this wall?!” They aren’t there because the wall is. Just like ISIS isn’t there because the US is.
Something tells me even if we do leave its gonna get a lot worser and America still gets blamed. With a bigger refugee crisis looming.
No one connected the dots during the 2013 refugee crisis, how our foreign policy caused it in the first place
You are a comonial power there . No one to blame but you
The Iraqi government wants the US troops to leave Iraq. This means that the Islamic state will take control over Iraq in 12 until 24 months.

Heat level in US is not yet high enough to cook any plans directly against Iran still... but the inevitable is called that for a reason... as Leo Tolstoy says... the most powerful warriors are patience and time... just remember, as time drags on, the patience will eventually run short 😉
Never Say NEVER 😎 Justin Bieber
But after going against Russia, it will be tough for west to attack Iran . Russia, china India will support Iran
I'm worried the Republicans, if they take the Whitehouse, will start a war with Iran just to one-up Biden so they can keep saying they (Republicans) are the stronger foreign policy party.
I don't think the American public has a taste for war currently. And when considering the current political of Iran and the US engaging in conflict with Iran is a lose lose for the current Biden administration. If anything the US has leverage in the dissatisfy of Iranians towards their government should domestic conflict occurs.
Where are all the screeching people that were saying Trump's going us into wars.... Look around. Do you feel foolish yet.
One country causing all this problems for the world. It’s ridiculous
I highly doubt we're attacking Iran, we have support to help Israel other than that no one wants us to stay in the mid east
''Despite US' best efforts'' - TLDR, I appreciate your objectivity moist of the time, but please can you elaborate what is these best efforts for de-escalation? Sending more military and financial aid to Israel? Bombing Yemen so Israel could kill more civilians?
USA OUT OF MIDDLE EAST.
Its not your land
TLDR, No
