Place I worked years ago, they bought an XMT350 with an 8RC suitcase. I loved that machine! I could run 1/16" solid wire welding excavator sticks, 1/2" AR400F in a single pass. Best part was, the suitcase had a 50' umbilical so I could reach pretty much everywhere I needed to in the shop.

Wonderful machines, I have an XMT 304 CC, it will not run my miller spool gun, you need the CC/CV model to do that so keep that in mind if your shopping☝️

Thanks James.... I loved the XMT 304 when I was in School in 2001....I own a Powcon that I picked up.....which I think a lot of the technology went into the XMT...cheers....Paul in Florida

picked up a xmt 304 and rc12 suite case for under 2k at an Alex Lion and sons auction probably15 yrs ago. just added a like new base model Dynasty 210 with flow meter, air cooled tig torch foot pedal for $2300 from Auctions International,

I have both, they are the best power supply out there. Lincoln has topnotch feeders. But IMO lincoln and miller are the only two brands I will always use togethet

I picked up a miller econotig for 500 on a farm sale which are still going for 2-3k on eBay. 20 year old machine but welds like it’s brand new without all the digital screens and stuff like that

We have like 8-10 350’s in our shop in bc Canada. My wife’s family lives in arizonia. I’d love to come take a short course or even a refresher course if you have one. Seems like a really great school you got there. I been plasma cutting and mig welding for too long. Need to get back into some pipe and smaw. I’m getting too rusty.

Yeah if you like spending close to 10 grand Everlast has the same thing for 3 grand the mts 400 dual phase Machine has a carbon arc settings the xmt350 don't miller and Lincoln are becoming obsolete yes the engine drives yes but the prices are beyond insane
