52 WEEK GUITAR PLAYER CLOSES TOMORROW!
There are less than 36 hours left to join 52WGP before I close enrollment again for a few months.
I’ll be closing the program again by end of day on Friday March 31st so we can officially start the April cohort. The program only resumed in mid-March. Before that it was closed since January. So when I say I’m closing the program again, I mean it.
So if you’re an:
1. Adult male that plays at an intermediate level
2. Guitar used to be a big part of their life
3. Improve their knowledge of the fretboard, improv, compositional skill
4. Serious
5. Want cut and paste practice routines that were designed by a professional and are proven to work.
You’ve come to the right place dammit. There are currently over 600 guitar players in our community who share many of these traits. If you’re a beginner, you’d probably find this program quite fast paced and challenging.
You’re gonna make so much progress here that all your friends will get PISSED OFF but not even mad.
Because we offer
1. This program offers a highly structured 170+ lesson curriculum.
2. Lessons come with a built in practice routine that will tell you exactly what to do step by step as well as WHY you're doing it AND when to move on to the next.
3. A Facebook group to share progress videos and get professional feedback.
4. Group Zoom coaching calls 3x/week to have your questions answered and get your playing roasted.
5. A new backing track shared every week for you to improvise over.
6. Accountability - we do this by making you share a progress video every week for 52 weeks in a row. If you fail to post, I personally call you out and you fail.
7. The best and most fun place to learn guitar on the internet
8. Very good looking instructors!
Who I do not work with:
a. Uncertain people
b. Busy annoying high school students
c. Anyone looking for an easy route to be good
d. Information gatherers that never take action
e. People only looking to learn parts of songs

legato vs wonderwall battle starts NOW
.................maybe..........
@@jamasterjdizzle I said maybe
@@chrisgallardo2130 I guess you're gonna be the one that's saves me
Anyone playing Wonderwall will be sold into slavery.
I have spoken.
Lmao
Thank you now I will show this to my totally real girlfriend
A little sus
Just don't tell your wife about your girlfriend
I already showed your girlfriend. 💪🏽

Remember legato is a sound, not a physical technique. You can use all hammer-ons/pull offs and still have a staccato sound. I feel like not enough guitar players remember that
YEP
You can even pick every note and have a fairly legato sound
@@jordanj9069 It's funny, legato is often seen as the easiest way to play fast but actually legato in its true sense is incredibly difficult. Maybe one of the hardest things? Playing a whole passage and not hearing a single string change like Holdsworth did it just insane.
@@alexjackson8841 oh man true legato when changing strings is extremely difficult
One of those things where even great players will admit you need to have the right setup to perfect it
Yeah personally tho I prefer the holdsworth legato style where you only use hammer ons, to me thats the gold standard of "pure" legato (I dont mean that in a snobby way)
lol I guess everyone was expecting tapping, but you don't seem to disappoint
Tapping is for mindless shred-heads
It can however, be very nice when used in moderation but anyone tapping more than 4 times a solo are in grave danger of Baby Dick Syndrome
Expecting?
@@musician4776 No dummy, can't you read? He said specting
@@musician4776 specting, brother!
@@idk9637 what does specting mean?
Man I thought #1 was about to be tapping but ig that works
I thought that too
Wonder wall is like the Rick roll for guitarist 😂
Yeulp
Also buddy holly by weezer
I think it sounds cool to pick half the notes in a legato run. It sounds a lot different when you pick every other note instead of just picking each string once
Brandons are always so good at guitar
Great lick and I love how you put it in context. A lot of lessons like these don't do that.
Randy Rhoads used that lick a lot during spotlight solo’s
Yeh I reckonised it
Lana Rhoads used that drum track a lot in her videos
Randy Rhoads the best guitarist I've ever seen! Mr Crowley 😮 Zak Wylde is good v good but can't match Randy. RIP Randy Rhodes 😢
Playing rock on acoustic
My... my fingers.... they don't stretch like that
You figured out how to position your hand yet?
Get a shorter scale neck guitar like a junior or melody maker, ask your local guitar supplier the frets are a lil bit smaller it made reaching 5 frets easy for me as I had same problem even after playing for years. Hope this helps bro 🙏
That little intro piece to the legato was bitchin what a great little lick
Legato sure is flashy! But never easy!! You have to practice your legato game bro!
He's an internet guitar teacher bud. 90% of what they say or claim is major league BS. They're trying to sell a product and they know only 1-2% of people that pick up a guitar is willing to sit down a d practice Legato for 4 years to develop the necessary strength and accuracy it takes to develop a good Legato technique especially with a solid pinky finger. Everyone else wants God like technique and chops in 6 months and actually believe its possible so telling them the truth = no new sucker students.
But my favorite number 1 Internet Guitar Teacher bullshit claim is the one where they say. "It doesnt take strength to play guitar, you needz to do the relaxingzzz". 🤣 Yes, you indeed should try and relax, but good look getting the required strength and accuracy by relaxing. The human body just doesn't work that way. My second favorite bullshit line is, "you have to play fast to get fast". I bet Chinese classical musicians get a kick out of that with their robotic, technique they all possesses via painfully slow, mistake free practice. Practicing fast only guarantees one single thing, you'll be making more mistakes.
It’s never what notes but how they’re played . Timing is everything , then melody which touches on specific intervals . Or just noise
I'll admit. That last bit got me. Lol
out loud went “shut upppp” when i saw the ending LMAOOO good content brandon
You’re fucking AWESOME !! I love your freaking energy man!!
When he said acoustic I knew what was gonna happen
Hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, and taps are techniques collectively referred to as "slurring." Whereas "legato" refers to the sound produced.
More to the point, slurring can produce a staccato sound, and picking/sweeping can produce a legato sound. It's all in the articulation.
Man did us dirty with number 1...
"Play Wonderwall!"
the actual soloing concept is a great add !
I like how wonderwall has turned into rickroll thing for guitarists. Just like megalovania for us pianists
I always love the context part
That legatto is from the Rhandy Rhodes Tribute Solo ❤
Man I really enjoy learning from you ❤
Fantastic lick . Merci
I learned the lick by pausing the video and my reward at the end is getting wanderwalled, holy molly
Thank you for this amazing tip 😅
Make it all hammer ons and legato suddenly becomes one of the hardest techniques out there.
amazin🔥 more legato please!!
CORRECTION is easy for YOU 'cause you are a sick badass Lol
Once I learned the truth I sold all my electrics.
The algorithm recommended a gem this guy is slick! 💪🏾
The drums on that demo got me thinking of a certain website 🤔
“proceeds to show you a sick technique”
anyway…
so here’s wonderwall
Hahahah “to your imaginary friends” haha love this guy 😂 excellent legato 😍
The trick is to liftoff instead of pull off.
And listen to as much Allan Holdsworth as you can. You don't get any more fluid legato on guitar than that!
The trick is to make your hammer ons, pulls offs, and picked notes the same volume. +1 for Holdsworth
I love that Tele, particularly that finish, and it’s a 62’ banded style, looks like custom shop - very nice
My dude started out looking like Scott the Woz and ended looking like Idubbbz
Refreshing to see a young guy doing diatonic scales, they’re important! Doe ra me fa so la te doe is a diatonic scale, 7 modes.
How many guitarists know that pentatonic scales fit perfectly into diatonic scales? You certainly do! 👍👌
Cool lick dude!
"For your imaginary friends" 😅 I came here for a lesson not personally attacks
Hah. Jokes on you, my imaginary friends hate me too.
If I fucking hear wonderwall one more time.
THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING TIP! also I thought the number one easy flashy thing was tapping
Awesome little lesson
Thank you Sir for providing tablature for this Short video ❤
Thank you Brandon 🎉
Why do I always fall for this shit
I just got wonderwalled 🤣
Thank you Brandon for the tip much appreciated
Beautiful brother!
Funny and flashy? Awesome! 👏 😃👍
Thanks good stuff. You rock 🎸!!
HAHAHAHA THE ENDING GOT ME😂
"Imaginary friends"💀
That is pretty sick...
Love your videos! Great tip on legato sequencing techniques. You had to play 'Wonderwall' for the number one easiest flash/flashiest technique! 😅
Killer !!!🤘
Beautiful.
Imaginary friends 😂 true.
"To show your imaginary friends" that hurts
This what it sounds like when doves shred
Mark Tremonti uses this style of lick in about every solo he plays!!! Saturate it with a wah and it sounds beautiful!!! Great lesson man.
Damn good tone btw
Okay but can we talk about that backingtrack
You can pick a DAW and learn it in a single day or two just messing around to make a track that simple, it'll be even faster (maybe even just 2 hours) if you already know guitar.
@@YskarAlbumLuna you don't get it haha
@@materedai4158 What you mean
@@YskarAlbumLuna Sounded like Phub
#1 is slapping on a capo and fingerpicking acoustic
Thank you
Very satrianiesque I like it
Well done
Lmao that ending killed me.
"Imaginary friends"
thank you😁
You didn’t have roast me like that lmao
Well acoustic can be the flashiest when you play it right billy strings or tommy Manuel can put shred just about anyone yeah I know there other but they were who came to mind first. When I was younger I never touchy my acoustics but nowadays it’s really all I play there something about the simplicity of just you an a guitar that makes it so beautiful you have nothing to hide behind or mask your playing when you mess up it noticeable l. Kinda like how playing slow is harder than fast not playing slow to learn a part but when you play part that have silent notes an space when you hit a wrong note it takes so long for the next to come that it just screams f up lol we’re playing fast it over an your on to next a lot of time ppl don’t even realize u hit a wrong note
Certain things ya just can't do on an acoustic. I refuse to buy myself a good quality electric until I can prove to myself that I'm a dedicated guitar player on my acoustic.
Today it's gonna be the day
That’s so cool!!!!
My tongue melted after that lick
Kinda reminds me of the very beginning part to Yngwie malmsteen "Now Your Ships Are Burned" one of my favorite solos from him
"Today is gonna be the day that there gonna throw it back to you"
You attacks me personally with the Wonderwall 💀
I've always liked picked stuff. Its why zakk wylde sounds like machine gun percussion because he picks Everything.
I’m a beginner….. and this is all CZcams has to offer
BECAUSE MAYYYYYBEEEEEE
FUCK I GOT WONDERWALLED
The extended high note bend flat7 or 6 to the root of fifth chord. Hold it like j Mayer
That lick sounds eerily similar to 'When Doves Cry' by Prince
Electric guitar player: plays solo fast as f
Acoustic guitar player: TOODAAAAAAY WAS GONNA BE THE DAY
That ending 😂
The chick's love acoustic players....
Take it from us 60 year olds.....😎
legato is hard to learn but its even harder to get it to sound musical
Legato slides are how you get that freaky funky sound. Surprised you didn't say anything about it
How do you know about my imaginary friends lol? Are you saying our best friend is our favorite axe? And we have to imagine our friends are always there listening to judge us? Lol. I agree.
You are the proof genius are all a bit crazy. 😁👍🎸❤️
Everyone sayin they thought number 1 would be tapping but I thought number one would be sweeping
A friend of mine who is pretty good at guitar but an absolutely amazing piano player once asked me how I slide around in the fretboard so easily and after exceptional consideration before answering.. It's because I play a reeeeeaaaaaalllllyyy messed up acoustic often and have a Willie Nelson grip
