Can't wait to hear the CD I ordered/paid for on May 1st. Just heard from the label that they are tooling up and should have the CD out the door in a couple of more weeks. Did we overwhelm the company that it takes 3 weeks to get a CD out the door? And I see from comments that many folks got theirs 4 days after the release. Odd. Very odd.

@@guthrietrappmusic I asked a question that was kinda stupid. I was noticing the other day that looking for common tones on the top note of chord progressions led me to some neat substitutions and I had never taken that approach before because I was always focused on the bass notes the bass players were playing. So wanted your take on if you memorized these kind of common tones tricks to go from chord to chord and what your thought process was. I guess the answer is whatever sounds good. Thanks for asking though man. You’re such an inspiration in musical tone and personality.
