Really appreciate this video. I have a 2017 and the factory warranty just expired so I ordered the EZ Lynk, 5” straight pipe from the down pipe, S&B cold air intake and I’m going the “Proven Route” now that I know. Only makes sense to change the transmission tune if you are adding additional horsepower to your engine. That naturally will change the shift points in itself.
My truck does the hard shifting you were talking about but i never did the kam reset so im hoping thats the issue cause it just doesn’t feel right. I called ez link and did a data log and got a custom tune but it still seems to shift a bit hard.
@@ShaunOconnell truck only has 100k miles on it but was fine before i tuned and deleted not even 1k miles ago.. but if I put the OEM trans tune on it shifts great just doesn’t get up and go as it does when its tuned to accommodate for the ECM tune.
Daniel Warren I have all their products. Except the some of the stuff they released on black Friday. Got their disaster prevention kit for the CP4 just need to install it. Love their products and they have pretty good customer service.

So Im new to the diesel gang with my 2021 f250 limited, I don't use it a lot and was told via phone from support that my tcu stopped working because I don't use my truck often 🤔. So now I cannot start it from my phone or control the doors or even check status.... Is this true ? They told me I need to drive my truck every 2 weeks ?
I see that your tunes are proven😉. I was wondering what the smoke output is like on the bigger tunes? There’s no real reviews on these tunes on youtube so it’s nice to see someone running them.

I been having issues w my 2011..hard down shifts 1-3rd and hard shifts up 3-4th I had a rumble tune and switched over to a hiss tune could that be partly for the trans not being cleared and re tuned?

When you add the tune originally or when you add a new tune. If you have already tuned it and want to keep your tune you can do a KAM reset and the trans will re learn
This is trash. You're telling me this cheap tune will save my trans lol? Maybe for a 2005 Dodge Ram something like this will but these trans our trucks have stock go to a million miles. Idk just don't push products, give the pros and cons and stuff but I really think you don't even know what the "tune" you just put on your truck does
A TCM is not a Transmission Tune, it's a Transmission Control Module. Please redo or get your posts down with more professionalism if you expect to be getting paid for informing people of things. So, you're going to be putting in a different Tune on the TCM. Then give the proper description for every acronym used. You know, actually inform, not just winging it. You guys who are so eager and overhyper to play with toys and get rich from it, are so often not putting in the real Work to get paid.

Try out a kam reset and see how it does. Could be the tranny needs rebuilt

Have you looked into the SPE high flow, low temp thermostat? It lowered my engine oil, engine coolant and transmission temps by 15°-20°.
I haven’t but I might check it out
SPE makes great products. Used that high flow on mine

It came with the tune package that I bought. You can choose any of their ecu tunes and trans tunes and switch between them whenever

What about if in the tune says pcm and tcm? Do you still have to do it or only on tunes that say pcm only.
You can do only pcm or only TCM it’s up to you or you can do both
I understand but some tunes come together saying pcm/tcm. So when they say that do you still have to put the tcm tune separate?
