- The Winnipeg Jets and the Colorado Avalanche are tied 1-1 in the first round of the NHL Playoffs. Winnipeg has some tweaks to make against the Ads, but with the series heading back to Colorado, it could open some opportunities for the Jets.

Last game we played we played really good defensively it was hellybuck who didn't play up to snuff tbh
It's a disservice to LB and the fans if Brossoit does not get a start if they lose tonight. He's earned that opportunity and showed he can win in the playoffs.
It’s not smart to start Brossoit while helle hasn’t played a good game yet. It will mess with Helle, start Brossoit once Helle plays a solid game.
Would there be any contract obligations in this respect?
@harjasviria4541 I think it's the excat opposite if Hellybucks sees Brossoit play well, he may be motivated to play better when he gets back in. Rewarding failure doesn't promote better play in pro sports, someone stealing your job does.
@meagainandagain5756 No, all players are playing for free right now other than playoff bonus money their contracts for the year are paid.

2nd line needs to figure it out, and Helly needs to be better. Those two things happen, we win. Simple as that for me.
Why does everyone think the Avalanche doesn't have depth? Just because they have superstars on line 1? Don't sleep on the Avalanche depth.

The AVS have dominated in attack zone time for the first two games. If the Jets are going to win the series, they need to control the neutral zone and hem the AVS and slow the game down. If they continue to try and skate with the AVS and play fast paced, they will loose game 3 and 4. Make the super car drive on dirt and it will bog down. Go AVS!
Highest scoring team vs the best defensive team. Regular season is another season, playoff is about hunger. Avs been there, they outscore their problems in 2022 with above avg goaltending going 16-4, 2.75 GAA with 4.25 GF. Its a better team then last year and they're still pissed. They play a style where their goalie just needs to be one shot better

Jets gotta play their game tonight. No team in the league is outgunning the Av’s. They need to be hemmed in and frustrated. More pucks on Georgiev and play brick wall defence. Keep them to the outside and don’t give up pucks in the slot. Stay outta the box cuz Av’s power play is lethal

Been great games for Winnipeg looking for more . The coach needs to learn how to make adjustments on the fly or Winnipeg will be like Dallas when he coached there , out of the playoffs!!
Let me be clear Hellebuck has had a outstanding reg. season , as he has in the past . However , Hellebuck has never had an outstanding play- off record , the stats prove it . Put Brossoit in , his play-off track record , is much better .
