Distinguished by their set neck construction, mahogany body and neck, tobacco sunburst finish, medium-C neck profiles with rosewood fingerboards, 24.75” scale length, and 6-in-line Grover mini-rotomatic tuners, these guitars unite to provide not only familiarity but also impeccable playability, tone, and sustain, coupled with ideal balance and zero neck-dive.
It's not just their visual appeal that captivates; these guitars offer a diverse tonal palette suitable for virtually any genre. From the melodies of country and blues to the vigor of rock and surf, as well as the intensity of modern metal, stoner rock, and doom - these guitars have all bases covered.
The Firecaster boasts a familiar master volume and tone control layout, housing a set of Woodrite Talisman humbuckers in the middle and neck positions, accompanied by a striking Woodrite T-style bridge pickup. With a 5-position pickup switching, including captivating strat-like 2nd and 4th positions, the 6-saddle tele bridge ensures precise intonation, while the string through body enhances tonal depth and sustain.
Meanwhile, the Switchblade ingeniously merges the essence of beloved offset and double-cut guitars. Featuring a master volume and master tone control knob setup, it is equipped with dynamic and expressive Woodrite Firelance humbucking pickups. For those enamored with the classic single coil Jag or p-90 SG Special tones, the humbuckers can be effortlessly transformed into single coils using the convenient thumb wheels. This allows you to access both rich humbucker and focused single coil tones, with a seamless blend between configurations for a remarkable array of sounds and textures. The controls are designated for the neck and bridge pickups, respectively.
Notably, the Switchblade comes with a master kill switch, individual on/off switches for the neck and bridge pickups, and a choke switch to sculpt your tone and eliminate excess low-end. Moreover, these guitars are equipped with a vintage Vibrola, an optional trem arm, and a tone-pros roller-style tune-o-matic bridge, catering to aficionados of classic tremolo effects.
Each of these amazing instruments is accompanied by a custom form-fitted hardshell case, ensuring their safety during travel and gigs.

Thank you for mentioning Soundgarden and Alice In Chains! Though maybe not strictly doom/stoner/sludge metal their influence on the genre (along with that of The Melvins, Nirvana, Tad, etc.) is obvious.
@@adamschmalz1179AIC is probably the closest to doom IMO! They definitely have some sludge in some of their songs , even the newer stuff like Check my Brains has a doomy sound...

Thanks, man! Was used for this entire video. On the Hunt was just straight in and cranked. When the Screams Come was using the Aghartha Distortion. Two Wheel Nation used the Elder God. Bees Made Honey was straight in with the volume lower and an MXR Univibe with the Vibe setting engaged.
Beautiful pieces of design, and if I weren’t so broke I’d have a Firecaster on the way here right now. Also, nice choice with the ‘On the Hunt’ cover as that’s become a bit of a hidden standard for Doom and Sludge bands to cover. Good shit.

wow, that Tele is really sick. I had a Suhr with the same pickup configuration a few years ago and I really loved but ended up passing it along to someone it suited better. But at this price point this is quickly becoming a video that I wish I didn't see because it might end up costing me some money hahah.

@@Doomer610 Hell yeah! I just got back into guitar after neglecting it for like 7 years. One of the biggest regrets of my life, have to start from square 1 practically. But, once I get to a certain skill level and start practicing everyday without thinking about it, I might get myself a Woodrite. Sorta an arbitrary goal to help with initial motivation

It sounds GREAT, and cost so much less than a Baker B3 !!! I can't understand why so many builders keep on doing clones of Strat or Teles, whereas there are so many cool designs like the Firecaster ! I am not soooo fond of the headstock shape though ...
