Never in deadlift or squat and I don’t do any other glute specific variation of exercise so when can I? I did this test you recommended and my hamstrings very much overpowered it and I didn’t feel my glutes at all, did a few rounds of the first stretch and a little bit of the second stretch. The next day, my glutes were sore lol, now I can actually seem to properly flex them, something I struggled to do before. Thanks a lot

Is it possible that limited hip external rotation range of motion might be connected to gluteal amnesia ?
I've noticed that my right hip is more limited than my left and my right leg is also hamstring dominant in the single leg bridge.
Working on my right hip mobility with the pigeon pose has shown great results and I think it's also helping with my gluteal amnesia in combination with these exercises. I feel very new sensations in my hip when walking now, and my knee pain has decreased.
