    How does the Peloton Bike compare to the #1 Best Selling exercise bike on Amazon? There's no doubt the Peloton bike is the most popular stationary cycling bike, and one of the most expensive bikes too, but how does it compare head to head against the #1 Best Selling bike on Amazon - the Yosuda stationary exercise bike...
    The Yosuda bike currently holds down the top spot as the best selling, not to be confused with the "best bike" sold on Amazon and it only costs about $340. As comparison the Peloton bike plus costs almost $2,500 not even counting any of the necessary accessories or the monthly membership fee.

    Probably not many people are actually trying to decide whether or not to buy one of these bikes or the other, but if you're in the market for a indoor bike and you've skimmed Amazon you may be wondering what is so much different about the peloton bike and why it costs so much more than a cheap exercise bike. This video should shed some light n the topic and by the end of this video you'll probably have a much better idea why the peloton bike costs so much more than a budget friendly diy peloton alternative bike.

    Thanks for the mention of the shoes! Both my road and mountain bike cycling shoes are almost 20 years old and am looking for a more comfortable spin cycling shoe to replace them.

    Add some light oil to the felt pad for a much smoother ride. It takes a while for it to impregnate the pad but its worth it.

    Do you have any links for a good speed sensor? Wahoos don’t translate on spin bikes and I like my Garmin challenges! The garmin one I bought had pairing issues which seemed common in amzn comments.

    thanks for the great reviews. just out of curiosity what would you recommend for me? I'm a 260lbs powerlifter who wants to do some cardio with lots of sprint intervals to keep my power up. Budget of 500 and would prefer magnetic resistance.I'm only 5'9 so saddle height will not be an issue. Thanks and keep up the great work!

      @@Conceptsexplainedsimply I actually ended up going with the echelon smart connect from Amazon. I’ve used it at least 4x a week since I got it in early April. I love it. I actually don’t use it for interval training as I thought i would. I do about 30 -60 minute at a time. It has held up great and feels solid. The only downsides are the max resistance might not be enough if u like to go for max power. The other is the seat moves back over time. For instance I start from the seat at the mark6 and over time it’ll start moving back to 7. Doesn’t happen in one ride thought it’s just over time. I would just recheck every week. I guess bc of my weight. Overall I really enjoy it and would recommend.

      This is very old now but might help someone else in a similar situation, If you are already fit and looking to add cardio go with a fan bike. The rogue echo is pretty amazing for a solid interval based workout. i do 45 seconds with 10 second "breaks" and go for 10 minutes pre workout and 10 after. If you don't regularly do cardio it's a real tough start, i struggled and ended up doing 10 on/20 off til i built up that burst workout. There's other fan bikes out there I've only used the schwinn airdyne and the Rogue and by far the quality of the echo is the best. Unfortunately if you want a more leisurely longer workout it doesn't offer much resistance so when I am feeling lazy i use my girlfriends spinbike .

    Yosuda has a newer model that uses magnetic resistance. Is it possible to get a review of the new bike?

    Jesus. The more research I do the more confused I am on what to buy. If you could recommend one bike for someone that wants to use an iPad with Apple Fitness+, what would it be?
    I really don’t have a budget per se, just want something that’s the best dollar for dollar buy (so between $500 and $1500?).

      SAME! Have you bought a bike yet? I’m kind of leaning towards the Echelon from Walmart

    • @shibbel1
      @shibbel1 Před 3 lety

      @@LauraDeconstructed I settled on the IC4 but did test out the Amazon Echelon EX-15 (pretty much the same model
      Walmart sells). While the Echelon was solid, I felt the added extras of the IC4 were worth it (dumbbells, built in screen for a few metrics (would have had to use my phone to see that on the Echelon), more adjustments, better handle bar grips, better seat, heavier flywheel 28lb vs 40lb, SPD pedals, and dual water bottle holders). Was able to grab one at Dick’s using a 10% off coupon for around $800.
